Staying in B&B da Viviana fulfiled my expectations on nice holidays. A nice house situated in beautiful area provides the best possibility for dreamed-of vacation. The owners are very kind and helpful with everything needed. Top-rated service and rooms. By my own experience l recommend this B&B to people who would like to have holidays in this area.

We have now stayed at B&B Vivana quite a few times as we have been looking for a house in the area, it is always truly a wonderful place to stay. Viviana is a lovely host who has a fantastic knowledge of the area and will always go out of her way to help in anyway she can. The Bed and Breakfast itself is very clean and comfortable and the views are spectacular. At the end of a long day it is a tranquil haven to return to, where you can sit on the balcony or patio, enjoy the views with a glass of wine.
The area has much to offer and although there are no restaurants on the site there are plenty close by in Castelnovo n'monte and the surrounding area. Breakfast is always an event, being able to chat to Viviana is truly wonderful and we have often taken her advice on places to visit and things to see.
If you are looking for tranquility and a wonderful base for exploring Emilia Romagna then this is it.

How can you describe B&B Viviana without spouting one superlative after another?! The location was gorgeous - quiet, peaceful, spectacular views, the cooler mountain air a relief from the baking heat of the valley. The house was beautiful: spacious, clean, airy and well equipped for comfort as well as style. The welcome was unsurpassed - the lovely Viviana made us so welcome, and we felt like we had found a new friend. Due to some last minute bookers, Viviana let us have the apartment downstairs instead of the family room upstairs, and at no extra cost. This was an unexpected bonus, and we so loved the two spacious rooms and the large luxurious bathroom that if there had been vacancies, we would gladly have sacrificed another part of our touring holiday to stay a little longer.

Although not a traditional tourist area, we found plenty to do locally - visiting the Parmesan Cheese farm and factory just down the road was an amazing experience, and the bell factory at the valley bottom was a real photo opportunity.

We would recommend Viviana's B&B to anyone and everyone. We can't wait to return!

My husband and I stayed at Viviana’s B&B in June this year. We were absolutely exhausted when we arrived but were immediately made feel welcome by Viviana who provided us with refreshments and made us feel completely at home. Our room was delightful, bright, even if little small, overlooking the back garden, and with our own private bathroom.
As far as location is concerned, we found it perfect. The surrounding area offers different opportunities for everyone who loves trekking but the B&B is also a good base if you want to visit the major cities and lakes in Northern Italy or if you want to go to Cinque Terre (a bit more than one hour drive) and Viviana was also quite helpful in providing maps, catalogues and some tips on what to see.
Apart from the excellent value for money the hospitality was great and so we highly recommend it.
