Harlequin was on my "list" of restaurants to try and did not dissapoint. Good local food prepared well and presented nicely. Outdoor seating on main road in The Gap. Good wine selections and cocktails. Many restaurants / businesses in Barbados do not accept American Express, Harlequin is one of the few that does. Almost all take Visa and MC.

This place is charming and cozy, with excellent service. The food was very good, especially the dolphin which I had. My husband has allergies to sulphites, and the owner was extremely helpful. We recommend it, and would certainly go back again.

We dined at Harlequin on a Wednesday evening. We didn't make a reservation but they weren't too busy and welcomed us. The food was lovely and the evening made for a most pleasant dining experience. We sat at the bar for a few moments while awaiting our table and the bartender was mot entertaining and pleasant as well.

Located in the heart of the St. Lawrence Gap, nice outdoor seating, good people watching since the seating area is elevated. The service was good, a little slow but very courteous wait staff. The food...jusk ok. My appetizer was excellent I had the smoked marlin salad - a very unique combination of flavors that blended together nicely! After the app I was excited to try the main course, only to be disappointed! My coconut shrimp was tough and overly breaded and, did not have much flavor to them. The sauce was pretty good, and it was much needed for the bland shrimp. I think that there are many better dining choices in Barbados in that price range and I will not be returning.
