On our first full day in the Gap my wife and I decided to give Harlequin a try. We did a quick walk during the day and the restaurant looked pretty good. We walked up to the restaurant without a reservation and they were able to fit us in. They were a little hesitant, but figured they could fit us in before an 8:30 PM reservation. We thought this was a little odd, because half of the tables were empty, but we just went with it.
We were seated under the stars which was great until we had a few raindrops. They did wheel out an awning, but our table didn't quite make it under it and we had to shift it a little. We ordered an appetizer of seafood samosas. We didn't really realize that appetizers here are for one and only got two very small samosas. My wife had coconut shrimp and I had the kingfish creole. Both dishes were pretty good, but nothing special.
One thing of note is that there were two cats in the restaurant that were begging for food. Somewhat annoying, but my wife liked them. The pricing in the restaurant I'm sure is what you are used to, but over the whole trip we actually found this restaurant to be somewhere from the middle to the high end. Especially since some of the more expensive restaurants are participating in the gourmet card.
All in all we left full and satisfied, but didn't feel that the restaurant was anything special.
