“really enjoyed learning to rock climb and abseil”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 March 2010

We went as a family and Andrew really helped my youngest daughter Emily to overcome her fear of climbing and especially of abseiling. By the end of the session she was really confident and coming back for more. Thanks Andrew for having faith in her!

“the trip was a major success”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2010

We had a group of 12 kids from our local community aged 11-14 at castleward on saturday. They loved the archery, crate building and wall climbing. We have arranged another trip in march which will include water activities and all the children are returning for that and say they cannot wait! - a major success

“Its a great tonic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2009

I have been canoeing a few times at the Clearsky Adventure Centre. I was lucky with the weather I know but even so, it was stunning scenery and such a peaceful setting - just idyllic. Canoeing was really fun and pitched at a good level - encouraging you to try new things but not so much that you feel out of depth...Recommend to try it.

“Superb trip extreme coasteering with clearsky.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2009

We've had a great weekend, 6 lads trekked out coasteering and had a great laugh, no problems finding the place (which is awesome by the way!!) and the instructor Andy was great. 3 of us were climbers and 3 of us weren't and we all loved the day. perfect for all abilities.

We climbed and scrambled our way around the base of the cliffs near strangford and up to do some added plummeting into a deep inlet.

We also checked out a sea cave which was brilliant; it was quite freaky when I started drifting down a pitch black passage. Very scary, very cool. Next time I want a torch with me though.

We also spotted some dolphins cruising past us about 15m away!! That was really the icing on the cake. It was brilliant and we really couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Fantastic stuff!!

Next time it’s all about the 65 foot jump!! Andy took us to peek over the edge; slightly head spinning, that inlet looked very small from that height.

Very highly recommended, no better way to spend a sunny sunday.

“Definately give it a go and ask for Eddie”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2009

12 of us did one day at the centre and it was brilliant, well organised, value for money and fun. We had Eddie as our main instructor and started with a quick ice breaker and crate stack climbing in 2 team which turned out to be hilarious. We then did archery, laser clay pigeon shooting and finshed with kayaking which was the highlight. The company were very good at making sure we got the programme which suited us best and £39 was very reasonable. They have great facilities, clean, hot showers and really know what they are doing. Our instructor Eddie was great fun and even joined us at our BBQ at the Castleward campsite that evening. Brilliant weekeend
