I'm writing this review 8 months after visiting Ibiza for the 1st time with my girlfriend, as we are both in our early 30's we were wanting to go for a lively holiday with good nightlife but we wanted to be able to sleep when we got home and not have groups of 18-30 year olds running about banging doors etc at 5am. Well this place is ideal for that. We done a lot of online reviewing of apartments/hotels in Ibiza looking for this type of appt and we couldn't have been happier. Took about 45 mins from airport to get dropped off at apartments and we were met at reception by I presume the hotel manager who was polite and friendly enough.
We stayed on the 2nd floor and stayed on one of the side facing rooms. The main room, bedroom and bathroom were all very spacious and the kitchen came with all required cutlery/aparatus for any self boarding needs. Our balcony view was not the greatest looking over the adjoining millenium restaurant but we could still see the sea and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony having a drink or two before heading out or having a bit of breakfast in the morning. The balconys were far enough apart so that nobody from the adjoining room could jump over too which was a bonus.
Air conditioning was superb and made a huge difference at night. New towels were supplied on a daily basis and the maids who spoke little or no english were always polite and said hello when we passed them on the stairs. The pool was normally pretty busy and was a lovely suntrap, water was a nice temperature and the pool guests where a varied mix of older parents with kids and groups of 3 or 4 girls or lads who would normally stay for a while before heading off elsewhere. Pool had a quiet atmosphere with no entertainment and was ideal for chilling out, occasionally the bar would play music for about half hour or so but most people were happy to listen to their own MP3/I-Pods etc for music.
My only complaint and a minor one at that was the sunbeds are in need of being replaced, there is probably about 60 beds in total around the pool but half of them the canvas has sunk meaning they are impossible to lie on without breaking your back, but as I said this is a minor complaint for what are quality apartments. We are going back to Ibiza this year and are planning on staying at the bahia again. As per other posts the Bahia is a fair distance from the main strip but we enjoyed the 10 min walk down to the boats and taking the 2.50 euro boat over to the strip each night for the nightlife. After a night on the lash on the main strip we ended up walking back to the apartments from the main strip a few times, it took about 45 minutes and had plenty little bars on the way.
Overall we were delighted to stay here and we got it for a week at a more than reasonable price.
