great location, away from hustle and bustle of resort. only down fall a hill back up to hotel.
several great bars facing hotel, titanic and granada both exellent food and service.Food in hotel was our only let down, allthough well presented and prepared, dining room lovely and clean, service very good, we found the food very sparse in choice. We did not starve but but found choices limited.95% for hotel. food choice being only let down. The staff at this hotel were all great helpfull and obliging. The hotel offers great cleanliness and modern facillities in all areas.Would still return despite my food problem.ANN AND RICK aged 57/ 61 SEPT 19TH TO SEPT 26TH

“Excellent Hotel, Superb resort! Fully Recommended!!”

The Hotel Club Siesta is a very good 3/4 star hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a good-sized terrace area where you could sunbathe privately, the living room and bedroom was also a good size and was the bathroom (which included a shower and whirlpool bath). There was loads of storage space and our room had a safe which cost 14euros for a week. There was a mini-bar sized fridge, just enough for 2 or 3 bottles of wine/ beer. There was no iron or tea/ coffee making facilities. We also had a TV and DVD player. The rooms were clean on arrival and were attended to on a daily basis.

The pool was a good size and there were plenty of sunbeds available. There was a pool bar serving drinks and snacks. The public areas were all clean and had a modern feel to the them. The reception staff were all helpful and spoke good English.

We stayed on a B&B basis and had breakfast on most days. The food was OK to good, typical buffet breakfast. The food was warm but got a bit samey after a few days.

The resort of Santa Eulalia is wonderful! The Siesta is a 15 minute walk via a footbridge over the river and along the promenade. You can also get a taxi to the centre which costs around 7euros from the hotel. There are a handful of restaurants in the resort of Siesta but the majority are in Restarant Street (Calle de Sant Vincent) in town. We went to Rincon de Pepe, Ca Na Ribes and a great place called Daffers. We also had food at the Royalty and Bar Cosmi which were both excellent.

There are also some good places to eat on Paseo de Salamera ( La Rambla was very good).

Across the road from the Siesta is a Spar supermarket and also a couple of bars/ restaurants: Titanic, as mentioned previously and a place called Bar Granada which serves great food in large portions! We went back a few times...

Costs

Taxi from airport to Siesta Hotel 27-30 euros
Large beer (pint or more) 2.50 to 3.00 euros
Taxi from Siesta to town 6-7euros
Coffee 1.50 euros
Water Taxi to Ibiza Town (50mins) 7euros one way

In general we managed to have lunch for around 20/25 euros and an evening meal for 35to55 euros but like anywhere, you can eat out much cheaper. Many places offer Early Bird/ Fixed-Price menus which are good value.

On the whole, we had a fantastic time in Santa Eulalia. The weather was not great, we had a few cloudy and rainy days but the hotel and resort made for an excellent break. Fully Recommened!

“Excellent hotel. Fantastic Holiday. Food & Drink Expensive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2009

We travelled as two families, made up of four adults and four children (aged 7, 6, 5 & 3) and stayed at this hotel from 24th July - 7th August 2009. The Hotel Club Siesta was clean, relatively modern and well run. The bedrooms were air conditioned, the pool was spotless and the staff were excellent. There was a wide variety of food at breakfast and dinner and at least two of the above mentioned adults returned almost half a stone heavier!

The hotel was half empty when we stayed, so there were always sun beds available round the pool and as is probably par for the course for Ibiza the weather was beautiful for the whole two weeks (I remember one day of cloud, but even that was a v. warm day).

There were countless activities going on round and in the pool, archery, darts, volleyball, pool competitions, table tennis, crazy golf (v. basic course) and the daily water polo game at 3.00pm. In the evening there were always games and quizzes run by Julia (who our kids adored and who also ran all the aforementioned daily activities). At 8.30pm there was the Crazy Kids Disco, which for the children was the hi-light of every day.

Santa Eulalia is 15 minutes walk away and provided cheaper food and drink than the hotel, together with a very nice beach.

The plus points were the hotel itself, were the very friendly and helpful staff and the excessive food on offer at meal times; all the guests when we stayed were nice people. The down points were the bedrooms could have been a bit bigger (but I am being a little picky here) and the only thing that would preclude me from returning is the price of food and drink at the snack bar, the bar itself, and the drink prices you had to pay for at dinner (drinks were free at breakfast). To give an example a small beer (half pint approx) was 2 Euros!! Despite the exchange rate being bad, I think the hotel's prices were double what they should have been. However, fall out of the front door of the hotel and there is a Spar directly opposite where a can of the same amount of beer can be bought for a quarter of the price. You weren't supposed to take food and drink round the pool... but no-one told us off, and we weren’t exactly concealing our beer cans or food.

My tip, eat as much as possible at breakfast and then you don’t need lunch.

One of the best holidays we have ever had and will definitely try to return next year.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel all the stess and worry fell off my shoulders, All the staff at this hotel were fantastic from the lovely claudine on reception to Lugo in the snack bar, everybody was so friendly and helpfull it was a joy,the hotel was spotless as were the gardens and pool area, food was great and plentiful, we had a ground floor room which had a seating area leading to a grassed area which was good for my 3 yo son, i would recomend a stay at this hotel to any one wishing to relax and watch the beautiful evenings drift by as it was not overcrowded, plenty of sunbeds to choose from in the morning with no towels thrown on any of them, a mixture of cultures stayed here with germans and spanish as well as english, there was some entertainmet during the day and evening just enough to keep kids and adults busy. i will be booking my place for next year for sure..

Just returned last Friday. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and the food of a good standard. A good all round family hotel. Would definetly use again.
