The Hotel Club Siesta is a very good 3/4 star hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had a good-sized terrace area where you could sunbathe privately, the living room and bedroom was also a good size and was the bathroom (which included a shower and whirlpool bath). There was loads of storage space and our room had a safe which cost 14euros for a week. There was a mini-bar sized fridge, just enough for 2 or 3 bottles of wine/ beer. There was no iron or tea/ coffee making facilities. We also had a TV and DVD player. The rooms were clean on arrival and were attended to on a daily basis.
The pool was a good size and there were plenty of sunbeds available. There was a pool bar serving drinks and snacks. The public areas were all clean and had a modern feel to the them. The reception staff were all helpful and spoke good English.
We stayed on a B&B basis and had breakfast on most days. The food was OK to good, typical buffet breakfast. The food was warm but got a bit samey after a few days.
The resort of Santa Eulalia is wonderful! The Siesta is a 15 minute walk via a footbridge over the river and along the promenade. You can also get a taxi to the centre which costs around 7euros from the hotel. There are a handful of restaurants in the resort of Siesta but the majority are in Restarant Street (Calle de Sant Vincent) in town. We went to Rincon de Pepe, Ca Na Ribes and a great place called Daffers. We also had food at the Royalty and Bar Cosmi which were both excellent.
There are also some good places to eat on Paseo de Salamera ( La Rambla was very good).
Across the road from the Siesta is a Spar supermarket and also a couple of bars/ restaurants: Titanic, as mentioned previously and a place called Bar Granada which serves great food in large portions! We went back a few times...
Costs
Taxi from airport to Siesta Hotel 27-30 euros
Large beer (pint or more) 2.50 to 3.00 euros
Taxi from Siesta to town 6-7euros
Coffee 1.50 euros
Water Taxi to Ibiza Town (50mins) 7euros one way
In general we managed to have lunch for around 20/25 euros and an evening meal for 35to55 euros but like anywhere, you can eat out much cheaper. Many places offer Early Bird/ Fixed-Price menus which are good value.
On the whole, we had a fantastic time in Santa Eulalia. The weather was not great, we had a few cloudy and rainy days but the hotel and resort made for an excellent break. Fully Recommened!
