“Unspoilt Santa Eulalia”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2008

Stayed for one week at Hotel Sirenis Club Siesta from 26th Sept 08. Hotel recently refurbished and was very modern, clean and welcoming.
Room big enough and comfortable for the two of us. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.
Hotel food okay for breakfast but wasn't too impressed with evening meals, lukewarm as mentioned on other reviews and bit greasy. Ate out four nights of seven. Would return to hotel however if this problem was addressed.
Hotel positioned well with Spar shop and Titanic Bar accross the road, both great.
Five minutes walk down to resort centre, crossing over footbridge and arriving at lovely promenade all along sea front, with bars and restaurants.
Santa Eulalia is great! Not too commercialised, got the balance just right. Enjoyed Mariners bar with entertainment every night, went there twice and had good time both nights. Lots of restaurants to choose from.
Santa Eulalia is clean and picturesque, couldn't stop snapping photos. We took a boat trip to Ibiza town but bus service was available if you wanted to use it.
Would return for relaxing holiday again, knowing that if you wanted to you could venture further afield for more nightlife, eg San Antonio or hire a car to explore the island more.

“A Good All Rounder”

This is a good value family orientated hotel.

Good bits
Rooms - good size room with a large bathroom.
Staff - couldn't be faulted. Very friendly and efficient.
Pool Area - large, plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Spotless every day.
Breakfast - good full english with english sausage and crispy bacon. Lots of pastries and fruit etc. Something for everyone.
Area - only 5 mins from sea and promenade.

Bad bits
Rooms - not very well soundproofed especially in bathrooms. Wardrobes, clothes face you rather than side-on and it's a nightmare getting clothes on and off the hangars. A kettle would be nice too.
Dinner - never hot enough. A really good selection spoiled by it all being luke warm. Limited dessert selection too.

Overall
Fabulous holiday, only a few minor niggles with hotel. I would definately go again with my fingers crossed that dinner was hotter.

  • Liked — Cleanliness of hotel and friendly staff
  • Disliked — Lukewarm dinner

“very clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2008

just returned from week at Sirenis club siesta hotel very welcoming staff very friendly hotel room very clean, but bathroom dated, bed very comfy, Pool area a bit small not much grass only sunbeds around pool but plenty of beds , hotel dinning room very small but lovely decorated , shane about the food not much choice breakfast awful bread and no choice only one toaster which was a pain , breakfast cereals terrible no choice and cheap and nasty the one's available . tea bag no choice no herbal teas for a 4star hotel food was very poor. would not stay here again long walk downhill to beach uphill on way back which was a hard slog after the long walk into town ,

I would rate this hotel as a 3 star the food in the hotel was of very cheap quality not as good as all the other hotels I have stayed in the vegatables were cooked in to much grease oil,

but as for the the hotel for a basic clean hotel I would recomend it ,

“we'll be going back !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2008

We booked this accommodation only 4 days before arrival as our other hotel had fallen through. We arrived quite early with our 7 year old twins and only had a small wait for room to be ready. Overall we totally enjoyed the hotel,it was quite small and therefore there was no queing in the restaurant and loads of space round the pool. The kids spent 7 hours a day in the pool whilst we just sat back and relaxed ! The pool is lovely and warm and we had a couple of games of water-polo organised by entertainment. The rooms were cleaned almost as soon as we went down for breakfast which was nice and all the staff were really nice ! Kids enjoyed the mini disco every night. For a couple who are quite fussy we can honestly say that we are thinking of going back next year.We have no complaints at all ! loved it ! Glad we had a car though so we could get around the island. If you go there and have kids take a small walk down to Mariners bar,its on the beach and there's a small play area inside for the kids so you can relax...some more !!

“Perfect for children!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2008

Hotel is a decent transfer from the airport (around half an hour) and on arrival the hotel looks good, well decorated and has friednly staff at reception. We were travelling with two children and were staying in a family room. This is basically a normal room with a sofa bed and another camp bed. Take some of your own coat hangers are there were only about 8 in our wardrobe and there is very little drawer space if there are more than 2 in your room.

We were given one key card on arrival which is a bit of a pain as every time you leave your room you need to take the key with you and this turns the air conditioning off. You can however put another card in the slot in the room (I used my RAC membership card) and this keeps the room cool.

Room was okay, fine for the amount of time we spent there. Breakfast good, pool snacks probably the same as any other hotel, evening meals okay could do with a bit more choice for kids. Lots of nuggets and chips - jacket potates and spag carbonara would have been good - food overall good though and plenty of it.

Good pool area great for children. No messing with reserving beds. Entertainment good during the day for kids and adults. Evenings were good with mini disco - daughter loved it - Miguel is fantastic!! Some of the outside entertainment - parrot show etc a bit iffy but a good laugh.

Our kids played with other kids and this gave us a breather - the hotel was not too busy during our stay which made a real difference - met some really nice people who we had a drink with in the evenings and chatted while the kids played together.

A great holiday - good size hotel, convenient SPAR shop across the road to stock up on water, crisps etc for the fridge in the room. We had a great time and the kids had an even better time. I would definately go here again but would possibly pay the extra for one of the suites just to get the extra space from a living room.

Beaches okay - go past the fountain on the walkway into Santa Eulalia for best part although there are no beds to hire here. Cala Llonga on the boat is a good trip but be careful of jellyfish in the water.

Ibiza town about 22E in a taxi - nice change to do a bit of shopping. The walk from the hotel to the beach and Santa Eulalia is down a hill and over a bridge which is okay. The walk bback with a pram is a little harder going back up the hill but not as bad as some people have said. If you are at the far end of S Eulalia it only costs 5E for a taxi back to the hotel.

Rooms cleaned well, staff polite, Carlos and Asis in the pool bar very friendly although I don't know how Asis runs the bar and the snack cafe during the day.

If you have got kids they will love it here without having to be in an enormous resort hotel of 400 rooms.

Well worth a try - we will probably visit again. If the kids are happy, I'm happy and they certainly were!!
