First impressions, go and find somewhere else to stay. But, book in and see what it has to offer. The complex is spread out [ if elderly ask for room near entrance ], can be out of the way, up a slope and stairs, and no hotel porters to help you to your room, the receptionist just gives you instructions and points you in the rough area as to your rooms whereabouts. Nothing special for the rooms, but they are clean and are equiped well but basic, has a tv, but is coin operated, take your portable dvd player if you need to kill time in your room, you should not have much spare time. Placed on the very top of the hillside, it is the best sun trap you could wish for, if you get the right room balcony, you will get the sun allday untill the last sinking sunsets, and they are worth seeing, [ be warned, very hot on balcony ]. The pool has plenty of sunbeds and brolley's, maybe a bit close together, the pool bar is adequate, and reasonably priced, good quality food and drinks. The on site shop is as cheap as any shop in Puerto Rico. The shops ,bars and restaurants are close by, some good some bad. Go down to the main shopping centre and eat at San Miguels, massive portions at very reasonable price. The complex may look ugly and dated, but for the price and it's position it;s well worth the visit. Enjoy

My husband and I stayed here from the 12th to the 17th October. We had originally booked the Altair apartments but they had been double booked, so our tour operator put us in the Cala D'or. However they were not very nice apartments, so we were then moved to the Eden apartments. My husband and I both thought these apartments were really lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The apartments themselves were very spacious and clean, with good facilities. The bedroom was a good size. The kitchen was well equipped with all our self catering needs. The living area was a good size with 2 sofas and a TV. We had an apartment on the second floor with a nice view and a large balcony which caught the sun in the afternoon. The food in the restaurant was very nice too, and not too expensive. The pool area was a good size with plenty of sun loungers around. These apartments are set up a very steep hill, in a nice quiet location close to the europa centre, which is a nice little complex. The main commercial centre is not too far away. It is much bigger than the europa centre and is about 5 mins from the apartments in a taxi. The nearest beach, the Amadores, is really lovely during the day and even at night you can go and have a nice meal in one of the restaurants which runs along the beach.

Overall I would recommend the Eden apartments, and I would definitely stay in them again.

I went here with my mum dad and little brother and thought it was great my mum and that went back the following year:)
the rooms are spaced and nicely decorated, had to share with my brother but it was still okay.
the food was good and plenty of choice and not dear either:) but if none of that takes your taste the europa center is just 5mins away if even that filled with restraunts and shops.

the beach is just a walk away or you can get a taxi down the hill for about 2euros.

the main center is also just 5mins away in a taxi but you do get pesterd alot and that can be annoying.

but overall it was a great stay ad id defo go back
