Very clean spacious room bathroom very clean, staff easy to work with. Right next to Walmart, Shell gasoline station, Popeyes chicken and various other eateries. Right off 95 highway so you can head either North or south or any direction

This hotel is an easy on and off of I-95. It has changed from a Clarion to a Quality Inn. they are in the process of updating carpeting, etc. It is very reasonably priced and clean. they provide breakfast.

This hotel has recently been rebranded as a Quality Inn. The new signs are up, so if you're looking for the Clarion Hotel when you exit I-95 westbound at Parham Road, look for the Quality Inn instead. As of right now, the Choice Hotels website still shows this hotel as a Clarion, but that will presumably change at some point.

Anyway ... I've stayed here before, but it has been a while. This time, the service was very good, but the room seemed to be a bit more worn and tired. The room was generally clean, although the carpets showed quite a bit of wear and tear, and there were plenty of nicks and scratches on the furniture. The room was of ample size, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

We had a 2nd story room with a walk-out balcony; the sliding glass door to the balcony wasn't fully closed, and I found, when I tried to move it, that it was probably off of its track or some similar problem existed which made it hard to fully close. Still, it did not keep out the noise. Around 1:30am, a group pulled up with a pickup and trailer and decided to have noisy conversations out in the parking lot, directly below our window, and they seemed oblivious to the fact that they were standing outside of a hotel in the middle of the night, being loud while people were trying to sleep. I did not report this to the front desk, and the group eventually quieted down, but the point was that the construction of the hotel was not of the type that would keep such noise from being carried into the room, even with the sliding glass door shut. Those who are sensitive to outside noise may wish to consider this when making their hotel selection.

Adjacent to the hotel is a diner that offers hotel guests a 10% discount on meals. I'll review the diner separately, but the food is typical diner food, served in large portions, for those who may be hungry.

Hotel has easy access to I-95, just south of the I-295 beltway, and the drive time into downtown Richmond is less than 10 minutes in normal traffic. The airport is perhaps 20-25 minutes away.

The service from the staff was friendly and efficient.

Overall, if you don't mind an older hotel that does show signs of wear and tear, and if the possibility of outside noise doesn't bother you, this hotel may well be a good choice.

Nice hotel rooms are clean a bit behind the times.
As far as that Bug revue did not see OR here of any.
I talked to some of the people at breakfast and did not hear of anything like that.
They are remodeling and was told it will soon be THE Quality INN something to note for the future.
When we came the side entrance there was some smell of Smoke.
We mentioned it and it was taken care of, and the room did not smell of anything.
The Pool was broken and they said they were waiting on a part that had to be ordered.
Breakfast room was large and had the typical continental brakfast
Coffee as most hotels was nothing to write home about.
I gave this hotel only 3 Stars cause it is still in the making soon to be a 5 Star for new management is on top of it all.
Yes I would stay here on the way back South.

We stopped because it was the only hotel that had rooms available. It was 3 am and we were just looking for a place to sleep for a few hours. Within 20 minutes of laying down my arm was itching uncontrollably. It felt like I had a mosquito bite or two on my arm. Got up to turn on the light to look at my arm and saw bugs on both beds, pillows, and even crawling on the walls! We immediately left and asked for a refund. The guy at the front desk pretended to be surprised and tried to offer us another room. Don't stay at this hotel.
