El apartamento es exactamente igual que en las fotos. Hemos estado muy bien aunque a mi gusto un poco justo para una familia de 4 miembros, sobretodo a la hora de cocinar. La situación es buena, se puede ir andando al puerto de Porto Rotondo y a alguna de las playas. Como hemos ido en agosto a menudo nos ha costado encontrar aparcamiento cerca del apartamento. No conocimos a Luiggi personalmente pero estuvo en contacto cuando lo necesitamos.

Pretty spot
We wanted a gentle week to rewind and Luigi's villa was just perfect. Very clean with great amenities e.g. good coffee machine. Porto Rotondo is a delight and very pretty with flowers everywhere.
It was unfortunately a little out of season and many restaurants and shops were closed but it did not stop us enjoying the location. We found it important to hire a car for a couple of days in order to see the Costa Smeralda.
Luigi was a good communicator and we would certainly come back to stay.

Excellent Apartment
Lovely clean apartment, all as advertised.
Luigi was away but I contacted him for advice by text and was promptly replied with very helpful information.
On his absence, his friend Christiana met us and was very helpful on our departure day, looking after our luggage, prior to our taxi arriving in the evening.
Luigi and Christiana sorted our transfers both ways, which was a great service.
On Luigi's advise we visited San Pantaleo, a small traditional Sardinian town, which on a thursday holds a very large market, well worth the visit if you have a car as it is only 20mins away.
The complex, swimming pool and resort is spotless and clean.

Great apartment on a good location, with shops, restaurants and beach nearby!
Great apartment on a good location! Kitchen was oke, with everything you need to prepare meals. Bathroom was also oke, with a nice shower! All was nice and clean.

Essendo la nostra prima esperienza in appartamento eravamo un po' preoccupati e invece tutto perfetto. La struttura ha soddisfatto pienamente le ns. aspettative, molto accogliente, ben tenuta, pulita. Oltre a questo, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, gentilezza, disponibilità' e serietà del proprietario. Tutto come da foto. Ultima ma non di secondaria importanza, posizione ottimale sia a livello di servizi, che per poter raggiungere tutte le splendide spiagge della Costa Smeralda. Esperienza da ripetere.

with the beauty of the place we visited, the unforgettable swimming at Ira beach. The apartment has these perks. Christiana,the host,is simply the best.

Well appointed apartment close to beach and marina.
Well appointed apartment close to beach and marina. Situated on the outer edge of a labyrinth of apartments, but with the luxury of an outside terrace area.
For British tourists there are no English speaking satellite stations on the television, and the pool and local supermarket close in the afternoon between 1PM and 4PM, which seems unusual for a holiday complex. The internet connection and air con are very good, however the bed and bedding let down this apartment as are of low quality.
The local beach is in a lovely cove and the sea extremely clear. The marina is extremely pleasant with an excellent cocktail bar called Juniper, and it also houses several restaurants.
Some of the piazzas in the resort are unfortunately rather tired and dated and there is a lack of good shops.
Overall good, the owner is helpful and accommodating, if rather virtual, make sure you have access to a email.

Very nice apartment, lovely shared pool, excellent location and friendly owner, highly recommended
The apartment was very clean and well equipped and was ideal for our needs. The location is excellent, only 20 minutes from Olbia airport and within easy walking distance of Porto Rotondo, which is a delightful little town. There are lots of lovely bars and restaurants to choose from and lots of very nice beaches just a short drive away. We also loved the shared pool which is really nice - clean, not too busy with lots of nice sunbeds. The owner Luigi is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

About the neighbourhood
a natural almost circular, including in the north east of Sardinia, was the venue for PortoRotondo, already dubbed by locals 'Poltu Ridundu.' A geographical space that was likely to be equipped to become a marina around which to develop a seaside village. It was the Venetian Nicolò and Luigi Conti Dona dalle Rose in 1964 to engage in creating the port and the village.
Almost everything was built spontaneously, following the inspiration and the inspiration of the moment looking at the quality. The idea was that the two brothers could become a PortoRotondo'''' milieu of artists and intellectuals, and the first to respond to the invitation were the sculptors Andrea Cascella and Giancarlo Sangregorio. The first created the meeting point of the tourists: Piazzetta San Marco. The second he realized the square instead of the dock fishermen 'Old Dock'. Twenty-eight masons worked Gallura granite which served to Andrea Cascella to give shape to the square, the stairs, the facade of the Church of San Lorenzo, with its megalithic cross and the altar.
The Church of San Lorenzo remained empty for a short time, as he had done Andrea Cascella, until he was called the young sculptor Mario Ceroli, who embellished the interior with its magical wooden sculptures, to close the circle, was commissioned at the same Ceroli the Theatre.
The initial idea was re-launched recently with the establishment of the Foundation PortoRotondo, which is carrying out the great artistic work started 45 years ago. In 2007 he created the mosaic of Via del Molo, the now-famous'' food chain'', the work of Emmanuel Breton Chapalain.
In 2008/2009 is the same as Mario Ceroli to complete the work of the Church of San Lorenzo, with the creation of beautiful wooden bell tower, the portal crystal and of the impending stained glass window depicting the Deposition of Christ'''' dedicated by the artist the'' dead white.'' Finally, the south facade of the Church with the rose window entirely made in Murano.
Today PortoRotondo is one of the most important companies in the Mediterranean tourism during the summer season welcomes about 20,000 visitors, with peaks of 30,000 in August. The beautiful beaches are the crown to the region and its marina that offers a safe haven to over 650 boats of all sizes. The territory is divided into three 'points': Punta Nuraghe, Punta Volpe, Punta Lada and welcomes hidden by lush Mediterranean apartments, residences and prestigious villas of prominent figures of culture, fashion, business and politics. The proximity to Olbia, just 15 km away, with its port and international airport has further boosted its development.

It offers a safe haven for more than 650 boats.Via del MoloThe challenging task of renewing the central Via del Molo was assigned in 2007 to Emanuel Chapalain, a young Breton artist. This path represents the "food chain": a sculpture path of a wave in which the fish devour other fish, thus synthesizing the continuous circle of life. The raw material used is granite and sandstone yellow, red porphyry, basalt gray and, for the waves, Orosei marble. The eyes of the fish, Murano glass, light up at night thanks to an LED system.Piazza San MarcoOr just "the square", was designed by the sculptor Andrea Cascella. The shape is circular, paved with more than a thousand blocks truncated cone-shaped, made of granite extracted from the nearby quarries and handmade by skilled stonemasons of the place. Top view is a spiral formed by a seal which is also of granite in the shape of an inverted cone with engraved at its base a slit that directs our gaze towards the north.Church of San Lorenzobuilt and designed with the birth of the village by the sculptors Andrea Cascella and Mario Ceroli, it is accessed with a solemn steps, consisting of 35 steps, which combines in a unique architectural complex of the Church and the Piazza San Marco. All 'entrance is the cross megalithic and inside the altar, both entirely of granite and always works by the sculptor Andrea Cascella. The interior of the church has the shape of an overturned ship's hull with thousands of figures, shaped pine from Russia, created by the sculptor Mario Ceroli and representing historical characters PortoRotondo. They depict details such as the youth, the tree of life, the Last Supper, the flight into Egypt and the Last Judgement. In 2008/2009 the Church of San Lorenzo was completed thanks to the efforts of the newly formed Foundation PortoRotondo with its members and the important contribution of the Consortium. The last works, created by the same Ceroli were: the bell tower, the portal and the window with the deposition of Christ, the south facade with its rose window made in Murano, one of the capitals, the inscription carved in San Lorenzo in the gray granite of Sardinia. In addition, the pavement of the square, south facade of the Church, adorned by marble profiles in the last six popes: Pius XII (Pacelli), John XXIII (Roncalli), Paul VI (Montini), John Paul I (Luciani), John Paul II ( Wojtyla), Benedict XVI (Ratzinger). Complete the square of the Popes, the profile of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.Teatro Mario CeroliAxis lies in the Church, the square and the port of Cascella - as in the Greek Polis. The project conceived in the eighties and made with the help of the architects Gianfranco Fini and Marina Sotgiu draws its inspiration from Greek and Roman theaters. Entirely of granite and immediately hit the colonnade of the stage and the impressive reliefs that Ceroli conceived on the outer drum. Entire property is semi-circular and has a wooden stage with a backdrop with fixed windows. The capacity is 700 seats.Square of the BroomsLocated behind the shopping complex on La Residenza Porto, recently built, is characterized by the presence of a fountain and a white marble sculpture, "The diver", created by the sculptor Giovanni Manganelli.Square DeianaNewly built, near the Old Dock and the Casbah, is home to quaint shops.Square Sangregorio (Old Dock)In the vicinity of the central pier, also accessed from Deiana square and Piazza San Marco. The square of the dock fishermen "Sangregorio Square", also known as "Old Dock" was created by sculptor Giancarlo Sangregorio.Square CasbahSmall jewel surrounded by the surrounding buildings, it is accessed from the port through the stairway to the sea'' or'' square Sangregorio. The delightful squares, elegant meeting rooms and the friendly, give the village a picturesque atmosphere.Yacht Club Porto RotondoLocated on the shore of the harbor is one of the most characteristic symbols of Porto Rotondo Yacht Club Porto Rotondo. Founded in 1985 by a group of lovers of the sea, linked in various ways to the place, settled as early as the first year of life in the beautiful building, entirely made of larch wood, created by the Venetian Malgaretto. In 1987, the Yacht Club, while maintaining a degree of autonomy, was incorporated as a venue "detached", the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, chaired by the Aga Khan. In those years the active collaboration with the "parent" of Porto Cervo became a reality in lively exchange of influential members, the intense activity in international sports and prestigious reviews of vintage boats, ending after 10 years with a separation agreement, mainly oriented to value the diverse needs of the two circles and specificities that had been emerging in the course of a long, fruitful activity in common.
