“Indicated also for business travel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2010

The B&B was excellent during my long stay for an internship at MIT (50 days). In five minutes you take the subway and in ten minute you arrive in the center of Boston. You are also next to the Harvard University (only one stop from Central). Free Internet Access and possibility to use a PC in the main room. I lived for 4 weeks in the suite room: it is big and very well-equipped; and for 3 weeks in an other room very confortable. In this period the breakfast each morning was scrumptious. And every one at the front-desk was wonderful. The prices were not expensive in consideration of the position and the service.

“Well-located, lovely old building with very helpful, friendly staff and generous, tasty breakfasts.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2010

Had never stayed in Cambridge but after our visit at the Harding House, it might be our preferred spot when visiting Boston in the future. It actually combines the best of both worlds - a good value with attentive service in an older neighborhood in Cambridge plus quick and easy access (by "T")to all sites and activities in Boston and Cambridge.

“another great stay at Harding House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2010

This was my 2nd stay at Harding House while visiting my son in Cambridge. I would enthusiastically stay there again. The accommodations are just right - not overdone. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgable about things to do in Boston/Cambridge and how to get around. When I signed in I was told that my son and his girlfriend who live in Cambridge could join me for breakfast which they did, and who would not enjoy the homemade waffles and fresh fruit. We were also provided with free passes to one of the art museums. Harding House is first class in my book.

“Nice B&B for a visit to Harvard University”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2010

We had found this B&B on the internet, and liked it. Located with easy walking distance to Harvard University and the city of Cambridge. Downtown Boston is 2 Metro stations away. Very friendly hotel crew. Room was a bit on the small side for 3 pax, but still o.k. Great breakfast buffet. Very helpful and knowledgeable hosts, with recommendations, information and reservations if required for all local events and activities.

“A City Escape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 July 2010

This is the second visit to this B&B for my wife and me. We visited last July 4th weekend as well. The location near Central Square is a short walk to both Harvard Square and the Charles River for the POPs concert. They have a lovely yard at which you can sit and sip wine under the trees. The staff was very helpful at recommending local restaurants. We had three exceptional dinners as a result. The off the street parking is welcome, as parking is especially tight in Cambridge. The breakfast buffet provided a range of hot and cold choices, including a wide range of fruit. I think we've found our perfect city escape.
