“Hidden Gem in the Heart of Seattle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2010

We recently stayed at the Executive Hotel during a quick weekend getaway....aka so my girlfriend could go shopping. I have stayed at a number of hotels in the Seattle area and consistently come back here because of the overall value. The location is awesome, only a few blocks from main shopping areas and within walking distance to Qwest Field, (Seahawks) or Safeco Field, (Mariners). The staff is friendly, the wifi is free and there is a Seattle's Best Coffee shop on the lobby floor. Our room has always been clean and the noise has never been an issue.

The only reason not to stay here is because they are sold out.

“astonished by how horrible it was”

As a Hotel Manager myself I was astonished by how horrible this hotel was. Trying to say even one nice thing about my stay is hard to do. Location was the only plus. The room was dirty (blood on the window shades). The service was horrible, upon checking in, the bellperson and Manager were reading a gossip magazine at the desk and barely looked up to notice we were standing there to check-in. No smiles, No professionalism, just poor service. Upon checking out of my dirty room, I gave a note to the Manager to let her know about the blood on the window shades as to not cause a scene at the desk and she looked at it and asked for my credit card for payment without another word. I would recommend that the Management of this hotel take a hard look at the services they are offering if they expect any return clientele.

“Dirty hotel”

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a clean experience in the bathroom or who wants to sleep at night without noise. I requested a quiet room on an upper floor and had one sleepless night due to traffic noise and woke up to discover exactly how dirty the bathroom was in the morning. There were hairs on the wall and the floors were brown. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Location, Location, Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2010

Mere blocks to the best of what downtown Seattle has to offer, the Executive Hotel Pacific is where I call home whenever I visit the US cousin of my hometown Vancouver, BC. Extremely reasonably priced with charming rooms and unbeatable location, it is perfect for those who is cost-conscious but unwilling to compromise on quality.

I have recommended many friends and colleagues and the feedback has been unanimous -- two thumbs up for the perfect balance among cost, location and quality of accommodation.

“Had a truly enjoyable stay.”

Came to Seattle for a weekend with my mother and four year old son from Portland. It is but a five dollar cab ride from the train depot. Excellent. Although the hotel building is old and a bit shabby, our double queen room was clean and cozy. (We had booked a Cozy Double, but asked for the listed complimentary upgrade when available.) The shower head was nice and the room was comfortable for the three of us. This was my sons first time in a hotel and he had a blast! The in room coffee was delicious and strong and the folks at the Seattle's Best shop downstairs gladly gave me half and half to bring up to our room. The location is AWESOME!!! Very easy walking distance to Market, International Dist, Monorail to Seattle Center, and right across the street from the beautiful downtown library.

We had a great time and my husband and I have book a room for our anniversary weekend in early February. And one last thing...about a block and a half away there is the very delicious Sweet Iron Waffles. Be sure to go there for an AMAZING six dollar breakfast!
