“Location, Location, Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2010

Mere blocks to the best of what downtown Seattle has to offer, the Executive Hotel Pacific is where I call home whenever I visit the US cousin of my hometown Vancouver, BC. Extremely reasonably priced with charming rooms and unbeatable location, it is perfect for those who is cost-conscious but unwilling to compromise on quality.

I have recommended many friends and colleagues and the feedback has been unanimous -- two thumbs up for the perfect balance among cost, location and quality of accommodation.

Came to Seattle for a weekend with my mother and four year old son from Portland. It is but a five dollar cab ride from the train depot. Excellent. Although the hotel building is old and a bit shabby, our double queen room was clean and cozy. (We had booked a Cozy Double, but asked for the listed complimentary upgrade when available.) The shower head was nice and the room was comfortable for the three of us. This was my sons first time in a hotel and he had a blast! The in room coffee was delicious and strong and the folks at the Seattle's Best shop downstairs gladly gave me half and half to bring up to our room. The location is AWESOME!!! Very easy walking distance to Market, International Dist, Monorail to Seattle Center, and right across the street from the beautiful downtown library.

We had a great time and my husband and I have book a room for our anniversary weekend in early February. And one last thing...about a block and a half away there is the very delicious Sweet Iron Waffles. Be sure to go there for an AMAZING six dollar breakfast!

“Good Location and Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2010

We stayed overnight to see the last seahawks game of the year.So was not sure what to expect. I must say i was presently surprised. The location was great..right close to both Pikes Market and Qwest and Safeco Fields. All three within walking distance. Sure the room was a bit on the small size, but i am not spending all my time in the room so the size was not an issue. The cost is reasonable and i guess it is you get what you pay for. The Bathroom was clean and the shower had good pressure and the water got hot right away. We had a king size bed in our room and it was very comfortable with a nice thick duvet. The TV is a nice size and flat screen which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were craving Chinese food so called down to the front desk and asked if there was any in delivery distance. The clerk not only let us know which ones but helped out by giving us menus as well. If you are looking for good location and good value and a comfy stay i would recommend this place. I am going to stay again the next time i am in Seattle.

“Not Bad - but safety could be an issue.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2009

So 4 of us stayed here during Black Friday - and we got a crazy deal for $59/night. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was 506, with 2 double beds and 1 bathroom. The room was quite small but beds were comfortable. Bathroom was suffice enough for whatever you need to do in there except the toilet flushes REALLLLLY LOUD. The room was fairly clean, save for a few pieces of wallpaper rolling back and the headboards had scratches from people obviously doing some very aggressive things in bed which was kind of gross.

NOW COMES THE SAFETY ISSUE - 2 of our friends were going to meet us at the hotel after they went midnight shopping at the outlets. At about 2 am, they came into the room. The next morning, I realized that I didn't give them room keys so I asked how they got in. Apparently they just asked for room keys for room 506 and the front desk person made them without question. This caused quite a shock because if it wasn't our friends coming in at 2am to our room, it could have been ac omplete stranger coming in to do who-knows-what to us.

The receptionist was rude when checking in. The room was very run down and shabby. Needed cleaning and painting as a start. The pictures on the website must have been taken YEARS ago. The shower had moud in the corners. The water pressure in the shower was very low and there was no hot water in the morning to have a shower.
