We love this hotel, and the owner Michael and his family. There is always a warm welcome and helpful staff on hand. Location is superb for town centre and cafes. A little longer walk to the main ski lift but you can keep you skis and boots and The Park hotel which is just a short walk up the hil (or down the hill!).

It is equally good for both summer and winter, with the sauna open in the winter. You can also get free entrance to the magnificent swimming pool, for either a cool summer dip in the out door pool, or a warm dip in the indoor pool, with it's outdoor jakuzzi.

Returned to Hotel Fischer after37 years. Having organised our own trips for years we took a package back in time. Same holiday company, same package, same hotel and it was marvellous! We had the great advantage of wonderful weather which allowed for all the walking we wanted to do.
Hotel staff were charmiong and very helpful. Value was second to none.

I stayed here for a week in July 2010 in a single room. The staff could not do enough for you. The catering staff were excellent. The cleaning staff were excellent. The reception staff were excellent. If you had any questions, just ask, they are only too willing to help. If you have any problems (I didn't) I'm sure they would be resolved to your satisfaction.
The food is excellent and on two nights there was a BBQ and Italian choice. Fantastic.
If you are thinking of going to Austria then go to St Johann. If you are thinking of going to St Johann then stay at the Hotel Fischer. Everything is easily reached. The town square is 30 seconds from the front door. The train and bus station and gondola about 10 minute walk. What more could you want!!!

we stayed at the hotel fischer and just got bac , what can we say it is just 2 good to be true, dont hesitate to book this hotel you will not be dissapointed at all , av a great holiday x
