We were looking to make reservations in late May for a late July concert at Arrowhead Stadium and this was the closest one we could find. I don't want to downgrade the place but it really wouldn't be a place we would chose if we had other options. This would be more suituble to the 65 and older crowd. It was very clean and the mgr/owners were very nice people. The room was large but decorated with Americana decor. Our room wasn't very sound proof, we were on the 3rd floor and could hear people on the outside grounds, we could hear every door slam shut and we could hear the guy in the next room sneezing all night. The TV was an old style (non flatscreen) 19 or 20 in with a Direct TV box set on top of it. I finally figured out the remote the next morning just before leaving. The motel did have free wifi which was easily accessible. They had a 3 ring binder in the room explaining amenities and rules and they do have a lot of rules. Especially for children, no children under 10 can be in the motel unsupervised. No children under 12 can be in the garden unsupervised. Not that any of these applied to us, it just seemed odd. As my title says, this was like staying at my stricter grandma's place. They also have various additional charges for soiling...We were looking to make reservations in late May for a late July concert at Arrowhead Stadium and this was the closest one we could find. If a comforter is stained, $120 charge, if a wash towel is soiled so that it can't be cleaned $15 charge, I think you get the picture. Again, I wouldn't really want to downgrade this motel, it's just not some place we would enjoy staying at again.More
