This hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, good price. Don't bother with the river view too much money. Building 6 had a great view of Mt LeConte. Big open window and glass doors. Comfortable beds, microwave, good size dorm fridge, small table & 2 chairs. Outdoor seating to watch the clouds move over the mountains & to watch the moon rise. Off the main drag so very quite. Easy access to the parkway through a shopping center directly accross from the hotel. to get to the room use either the many stairs or ramps. Nice simple pool. Bought 3 day waterpark tickets great value and fun time for all. Free WiFi in building 7 seating within the building. Could gain access to the web sitting outdoors near building 7. Simple laundry but nice.

I took my fiancée up to Gatlinburg for a little getaway. We checked in quickly on a Saturday around noon. The room was cute and large. It's a little older hotel, but you have to remember, this is Gatlinburg. We had an end room on the second floor and you would think it would have a lot of foot traffic noice, but it was very quiet. We left the sliding door open at night to here the sound of the river. The shower had great water pressure and the bathroom had a separate sink area so the two of us could get ready at the same time. We are a very laid back couple and the trip was great. Gatlinburg is a town were you have to deal with a lot of people, so just enjoy the fresh air and views. The best part of Gatlinburg is that you can park your car when you arrive into town and not have to use it until you leave, as long as you stay in the Gatlinburg area, so bring some walking shoes.

Never in my life have I dealt with unclean conditions such as these. On our way in to the room my 3 year old was stung by wasp. We unloaded the car and went into town. When we got back to the room we were greeted by ants, roaches, and a scorpion.

They moved us to another room, only to be greeted by more of the same. When I complained the next morning I was snapped at by a very unpleasent front desk clerk. How she is able to keep her job is beyond me. They refused any kind of refund.

If you love your family keep them away from this roach motel.

My husband and myself have been to Gatlinburg several times but we have always stayed in a cabin but on this trip it was just us and we were going on a budget so we decided to stay in a hotel. The reviews on Tripadvisor had me very concerned about what we were getting into. When we arrived to check in, the office lady was very nice and it took all of 5 mins, We stayed in the mountain view building rm 4233. The balcony looked over the pool ( it was closed) and the parking lot but if you choose to look over all that the view was really pretty and if you like to sit out and people watch then its perfect plus for the price I was happy to just have a balcony.. The room was clean and tidy nothing gross, the carpet felt clean and soft, the bathroom was clean and it was a good sized room, it was a short walk from the main stip. ( I enjoy walking ) If your overly lazy u may complain. The pool that was open was decent if I would have had my kiddos w/ us we would have used the pool. The only thing that bothered us was the ice machines they are sparse and you have to find one that works. The beds were soft unlike most of the beds in the cabins ( I did bring my own pillows and comforter) they had WIFI hot spots but I sat out on the balcony and picked up off the hotels nextdoor. If you are looking for a nice clean room close to EVERYTHING and your a budget friendly person and not expecting a 300$ room for 60 bucks then its a awesome room to stay in!!!
