We found a short hispanic hotel employee in our room on Friday August 28, 2009 in the afternoon with the room door bolted from the inside. After repeatedly knocking on the door he sheepishly opened the door and let us in. He left and acted a little scared. We reported this to the desk clerk the next morning. The Hotel then tried to charge us for $112.00 in drinks taken from the refrigerator in the room, which we never used. I refused to sign the bill for drinks and the clerk told us someone would get back to us, which they never did. If the drinks were missing the hotels employees probably stole them. The hotel charged my credit card for the drinks and I have been trying to get the charge removed from my Capital One credit card account for months. I have contacted the State Attorney Generals offices in New York and Ohio about these incidents. Most of the employees of the hotel cannot speak english and may be illegals.
