Well I loved this little place, especially at night with all the lights turned on. We had dinner at Casa de Pico which is very good, long line though but worth the wait. Prices are cheap. Margarita's are huge!! And very tasty.... I like the Guatemalan store they have there. Nice Place to check out if your'e in San Diego.

This is a great place to walk around, shop, and EAT! The Casa de Pico is wonderful, and all of the other restaurants have excellent smells coming from them.

If you come to visit San Diego you need to make a stop at one of Old Town's restaurant. I live here and I usually go to Baazar del Mundo. I think it has one of the nicest spots in Old Town. You can choose to eat indoor or outdoor (I prefer outdoor). On the weekends there is a live music of mariachi and other entertainment. Baazar del Mundo has the best Margaritas in town and food. The garden outside of Baazar del Mundo is also beautiful for picture taking. Enjoy!

After spending the day at SeaWorld the day before, the layed back setting of Bazaar del Mundo is just what we all needed. The cute little shops and restaurants are set up in a square so that the center area is a courtyard where you can dine and watch the Mexican dancers. The beautiful young girl dancers are dressed up in traditional dresses and do a varity of dances from Mexico. The landscaping is warm and inviting and the FOOD above all else was excellent. I recommend Casa de Pico. Fabulous authentic Mexican food (try the Carnitas and Tortilla Soup). Also, don't miss the gigantic Margaritas and chips and salsa (a little on the hot side). You should note that there is additional parking beyond the Bazaar entrance - just before Taylor Street on Juan. We all had a great time...our only wish was that there was more of it to see!!!
