We booked our condo with American Resort Marketing in Kihei in Maui where we stayed for 4 nights and 5 days.

When we were shown personally to our condo and we walked into the clean spacious room I gasped as the gorgeous view took my breath away. We were standing in the living,dining and kitchen area.

Everything was clean, and it had a well stocked kitchen, the bathrooms were beautiful as were the bedrooms. The washer and dryer were quiet to run and worked perfectly.

It was so nice we actually wanted to make time to stay in the condo! The balcony had lovely furniture we relaxed on and the view was gorgeous.

When we return to Maui we will definitely book with American Resort Marketing. When we had questions there was always someone available to answer our questions.

This is our 4th stay in the Maui Sunset. We rent for four weeks each occasion. Been coming to the isles for 40 years. At the Sunset we stay in the “B” wing. We have only rented the one bedroom two baths but our daughter and family took a two bedroom close to us a few weeks back. We have always had a very clean unit but then we usually rent directly from the owner. With the exception of time shares, at almost all condo complexes one rents a unit owned by private parties. So, if they do not keep their unit up one gets stuck with a pig. This includes those marketed by private rental agencies. If the agency is lax they take on poorly maintained units from time to time. But then, they also get bamboozled once in a while too.

As a for instance: Last year, after posting my comment here I read a comment where a long time visitor had a first bad experience here at the Maui Sunset. They gave the unit number. Coincidentally, that unit was located directly across the lawn from ours. They used an agency. A short time later I noticed that the unit was stripped and undergoing remodel. Perhaps their negative assessment got the owners and agency’s attention.

All things considered, (price, quality, location, etc. the Maui Sunset is maybe one of the best deals in the Sandwich Islands. Has a good hot tub too. I don't do resorts without good well maintained tubs.

It was the best vacation, the weather was perfect, sights outstanding, activities unlimited. We went zip lining, fishing, hiking, saw the crater, water falls, whales and the best beaches and parks. What fun, we would return in an instant

We found this unit on VRBO and the owner Jackie was very helpful. This unit is modern and has everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable. We enjoyed the sunsets over the ocean, from our lanai every night. She supplies everything from coolers, boogie boards to beach towels and chairs and unbrellas. We felt at home and the bed was very comfortable. We each had our own shower and bathroom which was a plus as I like to spread out my toiletries etc. The only drawback would be that the beach is not a desirable swim beach but good for walks. The good beaches are just a hop skip and jump away so that wasnt a problem. Will definitely be back.
