Our guides were Hillary and Steven and they were awesome. Hillary was very funny and had a ton of information about the area. We were on the Mudbugs, which in my opinion are much more fun since they are open wheeled and you get much muddier and get to share the experience with someone. The only negative was kind of a big one. After performing the safety check on the circular track, everything on our Mudbug functioned properly. However, about a third of the way through the tour, our brakes started to get very soft. I told the guide riding behind us, but he seems a bit unconcerned. A few minutes later, our brakes went completely out. I was able to accomodate by slowing down and letting the speed governor work for me appropriately, but it made the rest of the tour much less pleasurable, especially when everyone stopped suddenly and we crashed pretty hard into the mudbug in front of us. No harm though. At the half way point we stopped for a very nice lunch at a nice waterfall. When i reminded the guides that I know had NO brakes, they just asked if I felt comfortable driving it the rest of the tour. I didn't really feel that I could say no at that point and hold up the entire tour while they brought out a new mud Bug for us, especially when i didn't think there was anyone back at the start point to do it. Luckily we were at the back of the group and could maintain a safe distance to stop the rest of the tour, but it really took a lot of fun out of an otherwise enjoyable tour. I would take the tour again (although it is a bit pricey), but if you go and experience and mechanical issues, I recommend that you immediately ask them to bring you another vehicle so that you can enjoy the tour thoroughly.
