If you love nature, you will love this B&B. Only 5 rooms. The Ferg room is the biggest of the 5.
The place is a converted farm that has been in the same family since the 1900. The place is very well attended to by the Ferg family. The B&B is located on 80 acres and surrounded by farms as far as the eye can see. The husband a wife team that are your hosts are wonderful and have have many stories to share. Breakfast is included in the price and was beyond our expectations. We stayed only two days. There are so many places to explore, trails to walk, corn fields to run through and a abundant wildlife to watch, that next time we will stay 5 days.

Room tip: choose the ferg room

You will agree that you felt like you were in Germany. From the German Village theme of the the farm buildings; to the German Gift Shop with authentic German goods (and Coo Coo Clocks of course); to the wonderful German Food and beer in the Bier Garten; to the Bed and Breakfast with a wonderful German breakfast when you awake; and most of all, to the wonderful hospitality of Lloyd and Shirley Ferg, you will always remember and appreciate your visit here. Aufwiedersehen!

This destination was a total surprise, as it is located in a beautiful, Wisconsin country setting, well off the beaten path. Out of state relatives who visited a few days earlier had been so pleased, we had to try it. Dinner or lunch options include a variety of German dishes, as well as American food. Imported German beer and wines are available. But there's more to Ferg's than food and drink! It is a mini-Bavarian village, which includes St. Nikolis Kirche, The Alpen Haus Gift Shop (featuring year-round Christmas items, as well as authentic German wares), Shirley's Sign Shop, the Rathaus, and the Edleweiss Biergarten. The Ferg Haus Inn Bed & Breakfast farmhouse (built in 1912), offers four guestrooms, each with a private bath. CALL BEFORE YOU VISIT, AS THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS OPEN! 920-596-2946
