We stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed every minute the rooms were clean and had everything you needed, even though we went all inclusive you still had cooking facilities in the apartment a welcomed change. The food was excellent never ate the same thing twice. beer round the pool was self sevice as were the icecreams no waiting around.plenty to do for the kids they left me in peace as they were well entertained.

I have just returned from this hotel having booked with Thomas Cook. I nearly asked to change accomodation based on reviews I read from this site but I'm so pleased I didn't. I travelled with my husband and two small children (2 and 3 months). Very concisely:

Appartment (2 bed): basic but very clean and functional. Staff serviced it daily and were excellent and considerate to our privacy.

Pool: Lovely. Very cold and salty but so were other pools at surrounding hotels.

Staff: very helpful - a broken door handle fixed within minutes of reporting.

Bar and food: Ate there once as self catering but those on all inclusive said food was good - a bit repetitive but fresh and tasty. Entertainment was not great but friendly staff and real effort made, We preferred to go out anyway.

General up-keep: slightly shabby but the complex is very pretty and well landscaped.

All in all we loved it and will go again!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2009

Stayed at the Lobos with my Partner in Nov 09....just booked it as a last minute deal, we went all inc but wish i had not as the food was very basic, if you like loads of chips book it.....we stayed in block i, which was right at the back of the hotel and looked onto a road...the room was clean and the cleaner came every 2 days...the swimming pools are the biggest ive ever seen in a hotel....only trouble they are salt water....the staff looked like they didnt want to be there and made no small talk with you...the only member of staff who made an effort was the night entertainment guy.....would i go there again......No

we stayed at the hotel in October 09,2 adults,3 children aged 11,4 and 2.5 yrs.We were all inclusive for 2 weeks. The hotel was very laid back with nobody complaining about our children or any others. The hotel was mixed with different nationalities which wasn't a problem for us.The food in the resturant was ok,there was lots of it and it was always being brought out without you having to wait, you do have to remember you are in Spain so the food doesn't taste British but they do try,the breakfast had a choice of bacon, eggs, toast etc or meats, yoghurt and fruit. The lunch is salad, rice,a type of meat or fish, chips and cakes and fruit, the dinner later is similar.Note all inc ends at 11.00pm for drinks in the bar and the barstaff with the exception of Ali will keep you waiting, also ice cream for the all inc kids dont start until 11.00am.Louis does his best with entertainment(he does the mini club, pool activities and nights!)our kids loved him.The pool is losing a few tiles and the bar toilets are not great but again in Spain i didnt expect anything more although the pool is the biggest ive seen and the small pool was great for our little 2. You dont fight for sunbeds either as they will not allow you to reserve them, there are also lifeguards who are pleasant and good with the kids.I do think the staff (not including Louis and Ali)could cheer up a bit and serve you quicker but they are all really laid back.rooms are cleaned regular and are done well as are the beds.We did see a few cockroaches but none in our room at all but the mosquitos were hungry and we did get a few bites, apparently this was due to the poor summer they had and they had come out late!the cleaners did spray the rooms every night to try and keep them at bay which i thought was good. The entertainment is as good as you would expect with only 1 person doing the lot but we really liked louis and he really did his best and the kids were happy with it.Overall we were ok with the hotel and would probably go back.

Good hotel, the room service was pretty poor, we only got fresh towels every 3 days and that was only after we phoned reception.
The rooms need air conditioning though, It was just too hot when the windows were closed which we had to do to avoid being bitten to death !
