In town for a Hurricanes v. Predators hockey game we trekked thru rain and snow to get to Nashville. We were greeted by really friendly folks behind the counter and when we got to the room it was great to relax before the game. TV's are HD flat screens and the rooms are spacious with enviable beds.
After a night of hockey, honky tonkin', and a stop or two at local bars (all within safe walking distance) we called it a night.
We expected a standard cold continental breakfast but were happy to find an attended breakfast with both hot and cold foods! Plenty of choices to fuel us up for a return trip to NC.

We stayed here Christmas day to go watch the Titans play in freezing 20 degree temps. First of all this hotel is right on Broadway which is the main street in downtown Nashville. Easily located and in walking distance to downtown and LP Field. It probably is a 15 minute walk to the stadium. Check in was quick and easy met by the warm staff. The room was nice and cozy. I must say the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. This Holiday Inn was going bed spreadless and used sheets folded in a unique way on the bed. I must say this has long been a sanitary thing with me b/c most hotels don't wash the bedspreads after each guest(s). So, this is a plus in my book. I did use the gym and was very pleased with what equipment that was available. The free breakfast was nice and had a little something for everyone. I try to eat healthy and was pleased with the fruit, yogurt and oatmeal offered. I usually stay at places cheaper in price then this but, being in walking distance without paying to park or a cab was ok for an evening. I definately would stay here again when going to Nashvegas.

We stayed here recently while attending the Music City Bowl. It was a great location for walking to the downtown bars and to the stadium via the footbridge. Staff were very helpful in giving us directions and ideas for dinner. We used Priority points for the room and got a comfortable room with a good view. Two complaints: it was very crowded with high schoolers who were attending a church conference. We had been up late for the game and they were slamming doors and yelling in the halls VERY early. I thought the staff should have tried to control this a bit more. Also, when we went to the breakfast bar at 9:20, there was nothing left. No eggs, yogurt, etc. We could only get a glass of juice and go elsewhere for breakfast. Big oversight.

My friends and I were very upset with our stay at this hotel. We payed a lot of money for our 2 night stay and it was one problem after another. First someone had drank the water out of the water bottle in the room that they charge you for. Then when we came back to our room there was pizza in the hall and on the walls. The security guard came to our room and said we were being too loud and we had just come back, then accused us of putting the pizza in the hall. There werent any sheets, blankets, or pillows for the fold out couch that was very uncomfortable, and took them 40 min to bring them to our room. When i called the front desk to see what was taking so long he was very short with me and even cut me off and hung up!!! We waited 15 min for coffee at the continental breakfast the first morning and 40 min the next. I mean really keep it stocked. The trash was full and over flowing!!! I would not recommend this hotel and will never stay at it again!!!
