The hotel was walking distance from so many attractions. We walked to the Nashville Predators hockey game and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The staff was super friendly and helped suggest restaurants for us to eat at for our anniversary. The rooms were large-sized and very clean.

I found this hotel to be clean and neat. The staff were polite enough, especially the very personable shuttle driver (free shuttle for a 2-mile radius area). The rooms and the hotel in general seem to be in dire need of upgrades. The carpet on my floor's hallway had big bubbles and runs in it, and it took 2 tries by maintenance to get the mini-fridge to actually cool anything. Maintenance happens, I get that. It was still frustrating to have to ice down stuff I thought I'd be able to refrigerate. Many of my friends had similar issues with their in-room refrigerator. It was just another example that some money needs to be spent on upgrades.

Great hotel! A group of 20 of us stayed at the HI express, I was thrilled with the hotel. Great location- close to the bar/resturant scene. Fantastic beds, clean rooms. I was impressed with the variety and size of the free breakfast, and the free shuttle is a great benefit. One VERY minor complaint, the room had a Fridge and Microwave, but not enough plugs for both, so to use the Micro we needed to unplug the fridge and then switch it back, like I said, a very minor annoyance at a great hotel. No view, but I wasn't looking for one.

Great breakfast, but room was dirty, full of stains on the carpet.
