Great hotel! A group of 20 of us stayed at the HI express, I was thrilled with the hotel. Great location- close to the bar/resturant scene. Fantastic beds, clean rooms. I was impressed with the variety and size of the free breakfast, and the free shuttle is a great benefit. One VERY minor complaint, the room had a Fridge and Microwave, but not enough plugs for both, so to use the Micro we needed to unplug the fridge and then switch it back, like I said, a very minor annoyance at a great hotel. No view, but I wasn't looking for one.

Great breakfast, but room was dirty, full of stains on the carpet.

Excellent location on Nashville's main street attractions and Vanderbilt. If you like to walk you can do so to main attractions and Vanderbilt area is a very short, easy drive. Also convenient access to interstate. Fiske Museum across the street looked interesting, but didn't have time to check it out.

We were in town just to hit the bar and music scene. Was not to bad of a walk from the main strip on broadway. Accomadations were good, breakfast in the moring a bounus, and front desk staff was helpful in giving advice in places to go, and getting taxis for us. Overall for just a weekend stay would stay here again.
