We were travelling to visit family in Gorey recently and stopped off for breakfast in Newtownmountkennedy en route. It was a cold and wet morning and we were met with friendly smiling faces in a lovely warm, cosy and busy room.
As they were so busy, we were welcomed and told that we would be looked after as soon as possible. We both ordered and the freshest yummiest breakfast arrived. I had excellent poached eggs, tasty mushrooms and toast, while my husband had a delicious full Irish. We were topped up with tea and coffee as we ate and to our amazement, the total bill came to under €15.
I would highly recommend this friendly little restaurant.
