“Wonderful B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2010

We were 3 women travelling on our way to Cork. The room was re-arranged so we could each have a single bed instead of a King and single. The assistance from Ann was wonderful after being caught in a thunderstorm, in particular, to dry our Lhaso Apso (who happily slept in the car) with the hairdryer. With a recommendation of the owners, we had a lovely dinner at the Wicklow Heather Hotel. Breakfast was delicious with the option of cererals, fresh fruit and a variety of cooked meals.

“Friendliest B&B far & wide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2010

Ger and Ann do a fantastic job of looking after their guests at their modern B&B. Not only are the rooms & facilities great, but the warmth and friendliness of the place are simply infectious. You couldn't get a more helpful couple to make your stay in the Wicklows any better than this. There's nothing like returning home after a long day's walk in the hills and walking into a roomy hot shower with pre-warmed towels. (Walkers should also note the closeness of the B&B to the Wicklow Trail.) Hearty Irish breakfasts, a cheery atmosphere, a wonderfully tranquil location and help with your every question add up to a stay that's a lot more than just the sum of the many positive points I've listed here. I didn't want to leave! So plan on staying a few days - it'll be worth your while.

“Best family B&B I've ever stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 April 2010

I could not agree more with the previous reviews. We travelled with our children aged 6, 4 and 9 months. This is the best B&B for families I have ever stayed in. Cot, sheets and blankets were provided, baby bottles and bowls were washed on request during our stay, children's DVD's were offered in the room and our 2 sons were delighted to meet and hold new baby chicks and play on the trampoline. The hosts could not have been more accomodating, and the rate was very favourable for a family room

“Home away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 March 2010

Must agree with earlier review, very family friendly. In our case, traveling with three little boys (5yo, 3yo, 1yo). We fitted easily in a large family room on ground floor - large double bed, two single beds, and travel cot provided. Still plenty of space for our stuff - especially with large walk-in type wardrobe area. Plenty of off-street parking - literally outside front door made it easier to unpack/pack. We were attending a family function - but looking forward to returning in summer time to enjoy the sights of Glendalough and surrounding walks in Wicklow. And the boys want to see Bruno the dog again, and maybe they'll be brave enough to help feed the hens next time.
