“Peaceful paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2010

Just returned from 3 nights at riversdale cottage. We were booked in at the bed and breakfast but zell the lovely owner knew i was suffering with my health so as a surprise gave us the cottage for 3 nights. Beautiful cottage, very clean full of character, fully equppied and a location that will blow you away. Lovely owners and we will be recommending this place to friends and family. There is also a charming little dog named holly who greeted us in the garden every day :)

“Outstanding in Every Way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riversdale House B & B yesterday. Situated very close to Glendalough National Monument, the Riversdale is pretty newly constructed with wood floors and an open, spacious layout. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The owners were very friendly and provided great service for a very nice product. We'll definitely stay there again if we return to the area in the future. At 40 euros per person, this was a good deal at a reasonable price.

“Get away from it all at the Riversdale”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 July 2010

Arranged at the last minute and following some reviews on TripAdvisor, the Riversdale B&B delighted us. My parents and I travelled to Co. Wicklow to sightsee and catch up with family. We wanted somewhere comfortable and clean with good service - we were not disappointed. Beautiful spacious rooms, hearty breakfast and wonderful views. I hope to return in the next few months.

“Lovely B&B!”

This a lovely bed and breakfast - our room was comfortable, clean, and charming. Breakfast was good and our hosts were very friendly and informative. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Glendalough area.. Very convenient and great location -you can walk to the monastic Glendough sacred site and take a bus to Dulbin in a 1/2 hours. You are situated right in the mountains for long walks with nature. Lovely!

“Great Location; Great B&B; Smashing Hosts”

Made very welcome into a modern house that has been purpose built as a B&B. Nice rooms, nice linen, very clean and bright. Ten minutes gentle amble along the river that runs outside the house to Glendalough with St Kevin's monastery and round tower. Also a pub there and a restaurant attached to the Glendalough Hotel. Other restaurants a bit further away - lots if you fancy a drive.
Very peaceful, lots of walks over the hills and along the lakes. The drive through the military road is incredible!! Near two of the best gardens in Ireland (if you're into that kind of thing) Powerscourt and Mount Usher.
This was a wonderful place to stay - we would recommend it to anyone.
