“Superb !!”

This is a fantastic new ("hotel without the pub") bed and breakfast/guesthouse in a beautiful Village called Kinvara, the "gateway" to the Burren. It is smack in the centre of the village, within a short stroll to all the great little pubs and restaurants. We have given this b&b an "excellent" all round score which it clearly deserves. We will definitely stay there again on any future visit to the area.

“Very friendly and good value for money”

A great place to stay! The staff was very friendly and the facilities are comparable to a hotel, for the price of a Bed & Breakfast. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. A baby bed was provided for our little son.

“B&B, that is like a hotel”

The previous 5 reviews give a true and accurate description of this excellent B&B. It was constructed 1 year ago over a large new Londis supermarket with a large car park to the rear. Free on street car parking is also available in front of the B&B. The bedrooms are well fitted with excellent ensuites and flat screen TVs. The large dining room sits 30 or more people and there is a large adjoining guest lounge with 2 leather suites and a large flat screen TV together with complementary newspapers and magazines. The owner John Burke is very much hand on and is there most mornings. The B&B has an excellent deal for 2 nights B&B and one excellent dinner in the nearby Pierhead Restaurant and Bar, which is owned by John's brother Mike. Another good dining option is the Tide Full inn restaurant, which is across the road and does excellent pizzas amongst other things. We will certainly return to Kinvara B&B

“Hidden gem!”

This spotless guesthouse was a real find! Very modern (opened a year ago) and once you get past reception, up to date in tasteful decorations and amenities. Reception was rather spartan, however made up for by friendly reception staff who first showed us around the very inviting guest lounge with complimentary newspapers and magazines, a huge flat screen TV, and a kitchen off it with tea, coffee and snacks. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and also had tea & coffee making facilities. Shower worked well, lots of hot water. My chronic back problem disappeared in the well sprung bed, beautiful soft sheets! Tempting to stay in and relax instead of attend the family function we were in town for. Breakfast was ample choice of cereals, juices, fruit and yogurts and a hot full Irish if desired. Tea coffee and toast as much as you wanted. Will definitely pay a return visit if the opportunity arises.

“B & B that is run like a hotel”

Stayed on May 13th.

Kinvarra Guesthouse is an interesting place - it is advertised as a luxury b & b and true to that claim, our room was very modern and stylistic with wooden floors, a flat-panel TV, and a great, spacious bathroom. It is also located in the center of the town, about 10 minutes walk from Dunguaire Castle. What it might lack is the presence of an actual owner (that's not a bad thing unless you enjoy chatting it up with every b & b owner you meet). When we arrived there, we were asked to check in with a clerk at Londis (Allison, who was very friendly). Since we had an early flight to catch, we couldn't really sample the breakfast but Allison set us up with continental breakfast at 7AM, which we were very grateful for. This place also has free wi-fi, which is a definite plus. We have no complaints about this place and probably will stay there again - the location and the price are both good, as well as the facility itself.
