Very friendly B&B, rooms comfortable, Irish Breakfast amazing, still not sure what is in White Pudding but would recommend it.
Owner very helpful, I had to change my travel plans due to the Volcano in Iceland which meant I was arriving very late and Maurice was more than accomodating.
Also Maurice is more than happy to give tips on where to go.
Local scenery is amazing and would recommend the view from Errisbeg overlooking Dogs Bay and Gersheen Bay. See attached photo.

We discovered this lovely B&B by pure coincidence when we searched a place in Connemara for pure relaxation. Maurice was very friendly helping out with lots of hints where to go and what to do and always had a warm welcome and word for us and the other guests. Our room was lovely with a very picturesque sight over the harbour and Inishknee. The breakfast was made with love and very tasty, the full Irish platter as well as the scrambled eggs with salmon as well as fresh fruits with yoghurt. We stayed there four nights instead of one and would always return to this place!!!

I stayed here with my husband and young daughter and we couldnt have been made more welcome (even if we did arrive in the middle of the All Ireland Hurling championship being shown on the telly).
The rooms are really clean and comfortable and the front bedrooms have views over the Bay.
Aisling and Maurice have just the right level of helpfulness and being personable without being intrusive.
We would definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

We were thoroughly impressed with our stay at Island View B&B. Mauric, the owner, and his wife have traveled and know what guests need to feel welcome and at home. They had great information on the area, phoned around to make other reservations for us, and offered us coffee and homemade scones when we got in from sightseeing. We felt very relaxed and at home. The breakfast was the best we'd been offered thoughout our stay in Ireland. The bed was great. They have a fantastic wi-fi Internet connection which never crashed on us or was a hassle to connect to which helped us plan our trip and use Skype to make some reservations and call family. There's a great beach nearby. Overall, I was very happy with our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.
