From arrival at the pier where the hotel minibus met the ferry and took our luggage everything was great. Over the weekend we tried the fish and chips, the open crab sandwich, the soup, the seafood chowder from the bar menu and all were wonderful. Breakfast was average but more than adequate.

Our room was bright, large, clean with very comfortable beds and spotless white bedlinen and the ensuite bathroom was large while the over bath shower had great pressure.

The setting is fantastic looking over the sheltered harbour at inishbofin, a short stroll from the nearest pub, the church, the bike hire shop and the portacabin/shop where the sunday papers are sold when they come ashore at 12noon. (life at a much more relaxed pace)

The service at the hotel was incredible, even when the staff were under pressure, their good humour and willingness to oblige was exceptional.
When we had to leave we were running late and missed the minibus to the ferryport. The hotel manager (Colin) grabbed our luggage and carried it to the pier himself to ensure we didn't miss the ferry.

This is just a review of the the hotel but the island itself is worth reviewing as it is so beautiful but all I will say is if you haven't been - go there.

have just come back from a 2 night stay in the Inishbofin house hotel and i cant reccommend it highly enough.
The accomadation,service and food were excellent. the location is second to none with the hotel situated near the old harbour with magnificent views of the ocean.
The island itself is fabulous. we are definetely going back

Stayed here for the excellent Croí Inishbofin Half Marathon, beautiful hotel on a stunning island, a true oasis of calm! Staff could not have done more to accomodate us. Highly recommend this weekend.

Inishbofin is absolutely stunning! Our stay was made even more special due to the friendly welcome and fantastic service we received at the Inishbofin House Hotel. Elaine and her team went out of their way to ensure that our group was well looked after. The rooms were comfortable, the food delicious and views amazing. Thank you!
