Amazing Place Great People we had an absolute whale of a time on our Wedding Day. What a day we couldn't rate the place highly enough the whole weekend was absolutely perfect from the food and the staff in the hotel who had the warmest of Irish welcomes and quite literally couldn't do enough for us thanks to Kathleen and Sean in the hotel. BEST DAY EVER if we could do it all again we would well I would anyway.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. Arrived on the early boat, room was freezing and no towels in the room. I mentioned it to staff she said the radiator may be airlocked. Heating came on in the evening it took ages to warm up the room. Staff were friendly except the barman. On the Sat night, we ate in the bar, we were very disappointed with the barfood and staff. Barman apologised to the other tables for the delay in serving the food but we received no apology even though we had to send back the food as it was not fully cooked. On Saturday, i had a facial in the spa, the therapist was lovely, however the spa was like an icebox and there was no music during the hour I was having the treatment.

We arrived at days hotel, late on a Friday evening after sailing from Westport. The friendly bar man couldn't do enough, a hot meal despite it being long after when the restaurant was supposed to be closed. Good food, good wine, top notch experience.

Had such a lovely time! Spent two nights there with my boyfriend and we felt so comfortable the whole time, a real relaxing break away. We were shocked at how spacious and nice the room was and that it lead out onto a balcony - amazing view!! even though the weather wasn't ideal (which is to be expected in September), it didn't take away from the beauty of the island. I couldn't get over how friendly and helpful the staff were. We dealt mostly with Claire who was so nice. She gave us a lift over to Murray's one of the evenings and offered to bring us to the pier when we were leaving. And as we were a biteen hungover that day we were able to check out late which was much appreciated :) I can't describe how comfortable the bed and pillows were.. i wanted to take a pillow with me! so nice.. and the bed linen was so soft. Shower had great pressure. Room was nice and warm. The food was great too, as was the house wine. And the barman/waiter Pat was really friendly and helpful. All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend renting a bike while you are there to explore the island, so much fun! Planning my next visit already.
