Hotel sits by itself so it is peaceful. Went to the area to go to the Bates Motel attraction and stayed there. Each room has a door to the outside so its great if you smoke. Room was clean and neat, would stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to friends. Its about 2 miles to downtown Media and close to a alot of shopping and restaurants.Very convenient to everything that is why I keep going back!Just a pleasant place to stay!

My mother is in a retirement community about 10 minutes from the Quality Inn, and when the retirement community has guest rooms available it is cheaper for me to stay there. The Quality Inn is the closest available hotel for those times when there is no space at the retirement community.

It's basically your vintage 1960 motel with outside access. The complimentary breakfast at the onsite diner is an upgrade, I guess, from the continental breakfast they used to serve in the cramped lobby. However, there are only six selections on the breakfast menu that are complimentary, and there is a charge for additions or changes. I had French toast one morning, which was awful, and pancakes the next, which was tolerable.

Others have noted the $1.50/day safe charge. I noticed that as well, and brought it to the attention of the clerk. It's a little thing, but one of those little things that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

At $75, it would be a bargain, at $95, it's a bit overpriced. It was a clean place to rest my head for two nights, convenient to where I needed to be. Nothing more, nothing less.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for commenting. Our goal is to provide a great value for travelers, and I sincerely apologize if you thought our room rate was too high or any small fees we charge too expensive. We spent two nights at this motel and paid $208, which was not worth the price. It was a hassle to get a discount checking in (AARP, Veterans), which amounted to about $5 per night. And, we were charged a $1.50 per night for the use of the safe, which we did not use. Fortunately, we found the charge before we left and had it removed. The motel needed some updating, although it was clean. In-room coffee wasn't good. The location was central to what we were doing, and the restaurant next door had a good complimentary breakfast for hotel guests. However, if there had been a more reasonably-priced motel close by, it would have been our first choice.

Things I liked.

24 Hour Diner on Site, hosts the free breakfast.
Good Wifi
Large Rooms
Comfortable Bed
Clean
Feels Safe

Things I didn't like:

I know Media is a nice area, but it's not near a ton of stuff. Rates were a little high for my taste.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for your kind words. While there’s nothing we can do about the quality or amenities of the town, I’m pleased we provided you a great place to stay that met your needs. You’ll find we’re the best hotel value in the area. We’re especially proud of our free real breakfast and our spacious rooms. We’ll be here in the future when you need us again.
