Very comfortable, everyone super helpful and nice

We were part of a wedding during a huge snowstorm. The staff at Lake Creek could not have been more accommodating and helpful. On top of that they were extremely thinly staffed due to the snow storm and the inability of workers to make it into the resort. One example was even though there was only one worker in the kitchen on Sunday morning, the cook names James, went out of his way to cook up whatever he could find for a family style breakfast for about 20 of us. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay memorable and we are very appreciative.

All the rustic cabins were very cozy, clean and comfortable as well.

Riverview is one of our five riverfront cabins, offering a magnificent view of the Metolius River and our private footbridge from it's spacious deck. The rolling front lawn features your campfire pit, log benches and is an ideal setting for family picnics and fetch with the dog.

After a full day of play, whip-up a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen (with the newest appliances), retire with a glass of wine by the fireplace, then drift off to sleep in one of our comfy beds.

We stayed here for our "baby moon" and couldn't have been happier. I happened to find them on a living social deal and we took a chance. The cabin we stayed in (#2) was perfect. It was cute and quaint and right on the creek. We fell asleep to hearing the creek ripple by. We ate breakfast at the lodge one day and were very happy. We did dinner on Saturday night and it was incredible. We think it was some of the best Italian food we have ever had. A word to those considering coming here, you are stepping back in time. There are no tv's or wifi in the rooms and cell service is pretty much non-existent. It was such a great way to unplug, unwind, and reconnect before our daughter arrives. We are already looking at weekends this summer to start bringing her out there.

Living close by you don't often take advantage of this sort of place. Thanks to friends who were doing a Living Social special, we joined them for two winter nights at a cozy pet friendly cabin #8. It was a nice change without TV or internet or phone service in the cabin. The breakfasts at the lodge were wonderful (my husband raved about the biscuits and gravy) and the staff were very friendly.

We had a girls weekend planned for a nearby cabin. At the 12th hour they were not able to get us into the resort due to transportation issues. We had to scramble to find a place to hold us 7 ladies Saturday morning of President's Day weekend. Lake Creek Lodge happened to have just the cabin to take us. What a "Happy Mistake". A negative was turned into a major positive. The cabin was perfect!! The Manager actually offered to make us even more comfortable and offered to open up an extension to the cabin to allow us to use an additional bedroom and bathroom. It couldn't have been more perfect for us. The creek was cresting and running right by the front door. We had snow on Sunday and it was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed dinner in the Lodge - a delicious family style chicken and pasta dinner. Breakfast was good and all the staff we encountered were fabulous. We definitely recommend Lake Creek Lodge and will most certainly return.

Room tip: Cabin #11 was great! Very comfortable.

My family and I spent a lovely January weekend at Lake Creek Lodge. We stayed in Cabin #3 -which was spacious and homey, not to mention spotless! The entire property is just too charming for words, nestled in the ponderosa pines along the shores of Lake Creek - it's just a beautiful setting. We ate breakfast at the Lodge each day, and the food was excellent (get a cinnamon bun to go). The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The property has a trout pond and access to local trails. The General Store is a short bike ride (or hike) away. No snow when we were visiting, so we took advantage to bike some trails. There's a pool, tennis and basketball courts as well as a children's play area for summertime enjoyment. The cabin had a full kitchen (all dishes, pots, utensils included) so we cooked dinner every night - the woodburning stove kept everything quite toasty. We really enjoyed our stay here and cannot wait to go back. It's a lovely, family friendly (and just plain friendly) lodge. If you're looking for a place to stay in Camp Sherman, I highly recommend the Lake Creek Lodge!

Enjoyed the cabin and great personnel and quiet. Our other couple had to watch the 2 hour Downtown Abbey so we were in the lodge past closing; not a problem. Likes of hiking trails but no snow in January this year. Great rolls and coffee.
