while visiting the sunshine coast my father-in law decided to take us out for dinner to the blue heron inn...when we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately by Gail ,who seated us out on the patio overlooking the most breathtaking view i have ever seen..it was spectacular to watch the sunset from this location..we ordered our meals my daughter and i had the special ,which was salmon, prawns, and halibut with grilled veggies and rice......it was absolutely the best seafood i have had in a long ,long time..cooked to perfection...my husband and father in law both ordered the t-bone steak dinner which they were going on and on about how delicious their steaks were and everyone was very happy....did i mention the mango martinis were fabulous and so refreshing...gail asked us about dessert which we said no to in the beginning .until she described what it was in detail and then we were so curious we just had to try it...chocolate mousse type pie drizzled with caramel...oh my god...is all i can say....im sorry to say i forgot the name of it but it was amazing....so i decided after that wonderful meal that i would write a honest review of our experience at the blue heron inn to let poeple know how fantastic this little hidden gem really is..its a very warm welcoming establishment with warm sunny colors to match the staff that run this place they are so cheerful. and i have to mention the scenery from the deck is priceless...thank you gail and manuel for your friendliness, humor and for your hard work that you have done to make the blue heron a wonderful experience and not just a dinner...i do not hestitate to reccomend this place to anyone who wishes to experience one of lifes little pleasures out on the deck of the blue heron.....i dare you to watch the sunset their and not fall in love with life, nature and this beautiful place we call the sunshine coast....cant wait to go back to the blue heron.....Theresa ,Larry,Jaclyn,Gary (The Stratton Crew)
