This B&B is located in a residential neighborhood in an older part of Minot. It is on a quiet street, but is very convenient to the main thoroughfare that runs through the city. The owners are very friendly, fun to visit with and provide great service. I found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable and I slept very well. I would certainly stay there again. It's a great alternative to the chain hotels.

We have visited Minot many times and my wife has always wanted to stay at this B&B. This past weekend we went down for two days and stayed here. This 3 storey Victorian home built in 1906 is a testament to the builders of the day and has been well maintained. The wood work is unbelievable. Our room (Garden Room) was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size and everything was clean and neat. Jim and Carol are very gracious hosts and we enjoyed talking to them about the history of the home. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful as were the treats awaiting us each evening in our room. There is a ballroom on the third floor that would be perfect for a family gathering. Carol also makes and sells homemade chocolates etc. so needless to say we left with a good selection. All in all a perfect weekend and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Minot.

Room tip: Our room faced the east so we woke up with the sun shining in - a great way to start the day. Not sure of the wifi - left my laptop in the car - here to relax.

This is a beautiful home, the owners are wonderful, and we were treated like family. The breakfast was top notch. The house was full, the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. We will stay here again! The Dakotah Rose Chocolate is out-of-this-world!

The architecture and woodwork in this home are stunning. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The quality of the breakfasts are excellent. Carol and Jim are very welcoming and are very attentive to their guests.

Room tip: Over the past several years, I have stayed in ALL of the rooms. I would stay in any of the rooms. The Garden Room is my favorite. It is spacious and has a modern shower.

I was so happy to arrive to the gorgeous Dakotah Rose property on a cool, dark November evening. It's an absolutely stunning building and the decoration and furnishing is impeccable. I had to leave at 5:30 am, so missed breakfast, however Carol left out a light continental breakfast for me, which was appreciated. For the price, I was very pleased with my room. It was cozy and there are lots of little touches, like old photographs and bits of bric-a-brac that make it so homey feeling. I wish I had more time to explore, but as it was, I was simply there to catch a few hours sleep. I will definitely stay here again anytime I'm in Minot. The only, very small negative, was that Carol was not overwhelmingly friendly when I arrived. However, once we got chatting, she warmed up. However, it did not negatively impact my stay, it was just something to note.
