For a one night stay, it was ok. It was clean overall and the staff was very helpful.

Starting with the location on a desolate road towards the airport (dark at night) to the smells in the lobby, this had the makings of a problematic stay. The front desk was friendly enough, but there were all other kinds of problems. The security door to get into the building was open, the stairs and hall were dirty and run down, and the room, while basically okay still had a bathroom with stains on the bathroom and broken ceramic at the bottom of the sink. The towels and linens looked old and perhaps not very clean. Given all this and the broken glass in the parking lot I cannot recommend this place unless you are on a tight budget.

I have stayed in several Motel 6's throughout New England and have never really had a problem. The motel on Buell Rd. in Rochester was something else. First off I would like to address that the staff was very nice. I had no problems with that. The room on the other hand could really have used some work. The room was not filthy, but it was not what I call clean. It didn't smell spectacular either. The mirror in the bathroom was cracked like someone has punched it. The bathroom door at the bottom looked as if someone had tried kicking it in. The tub had several cigarette burns on it. I am pretty certain that the bed had bed bugs. I woke up the next morning and it looked like fleas tried to eat my foot in the middle of the night. I really would not recommend anyone staying here if they don't have to. It's cheap, but i would spend an extra 40.00 and find somewhere else.

First the reservation was screwed up - I had requested a handicap room for one, changed it to two person - was assured i could also get the handicap accommodation - when checking in,the motel was under construction, no handicap room, was put on the second floor, debris in hallway and bathroom (tub), towels were only for one person - parking was limited as were the entrances - Front desk personnel tried to be freindly but was frazzled (busy weekend). I've had problems with other Motel 6 and reservations for handicap room, don't know what's the problem with getting reservations straight. this place has potential being bright and cheery when construction is done, (rooms are decent size for 2, halls well lit as is parking areas, food nearby, is pet friendly. ice machine worked as did the TV) but the chain needs to straighten out their reservation system!
