First the reservation was screwed up - I had requested a handicap room for one, changed it to two person - was assured i could also get the handicap accommodation - when checking in,the motel was under construction, no handicap room, was put on the second floor, debris in hallway and bathroom (tub), towels were only for one person - parking was limited as were the entrances - Front desk personnel tried to be freindly but was frazzled (busy weekend). I've had problems with other Motel 6 and reservations for handicap room, don't know what's the problem with getting reservations straight. this place has potential being bright and cheery when construction is done, (rooms are decent size for 2, halls well lit as is parking areas, food nearby, is pet friendly. ice machine worked as did the TV) but the chain needs to straighten out their reservation system!

We have stayed in several Motel 6's throughout the US. As we all know they are plain and simple, but are usually clean and maintained. This one is not...it needs to be remodeled and cleaned. The halls are very dirty, the outside glass doors are cloudy from dirt and handprints. The rooms were in need of a thorough cleaning, the outside door security boxes do not work well, and an odor is present when entering the motel. I suggest finding another motel and paying the difference...it will be worth it.

Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke and the beds were uncomfortable. The washroom was small with small bath towels and no shampoo or hair dryer. The lobby was smelly. The staff were friendly, though. This motel was no different from most cheap motels.

I stayed here as I had a very early flight out of Rochester. Only needed the motel for a few hours to shower and sleep. I arrived at around 1:45 AM. It took a good 10 minutes to check me in. I had reserved the room throught the internet, not I should have just had to show my credit card and sign. was asked to show ID, then it took a while to process the credit card, then the clerk asks me to fill out my vehile information. This should be more efficent. On the way to the room, saw some shady characters lurking about. It really did not bother me. But maybe for a single woman, it may. The room, was fairly clean, but could have used a vacuuming. The bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water, but no amenities such as shampoos or hair dryer, but for the price, which was half of the surrounding places, I can't complain. . They do not have a clock in the room, I knew Motel 6's don't have one, so I brought was own.

For a short overnight stay that is cheap and you don't care about frills, this will work.
