This hotel has big, clean, comfortable rooms. It's a short drive to town or you can take a free shuttle that stops by the hotel. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Lake Placid.

Stayed there 1 night taking my daughter to camp. Initially had a room on the 1st floor with 2 queens. Furnishings were fine, but we thought the room seemed a little damp. Maybe because there is an indoor pool on the 1st floor? Don't know. Anyway, I mentioned it to the staff and we got moved right away to the 3rd floor...seemed better to us.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good restaurant suggestions as well. Hotel is not right in town, but Main Street is kind of a "strip" along Mirror Lake. Personally, I had no problem being a little out of town. There is a shuttle that can take you into town.

Stayed at the hotel for one night on our way to Saranac Lake to visit family. Wish this hotel was closer to that area because we would have stayed here the whole time that we visited. The kids were thrilled with the pool and with the 12 noon checkout we were able to let them swim on a rainy morning. Clean, comfortable and good value. Courteous, helpful staff.
