I found out about top of the world golf resort while i was researching lake george area for the July 4th weekend. I went with my boyfriend and another couple and we were able to secure a connecting 2 bedrooms in the B&B. The entire package for our stay is incredibly nice. With room and unlimited golf, we paid close to $100 per night. The golf course is well maintained and the front 9 holes are more open than the back 9. No. 10th hole has an amazing view of the lake george. I played 4 or 5 rounds during the long weekend. One highlight of the trip was the morning breakfast which is included in the room rate. Each morning they have a different menu and the food was from onsite farmhouse. I had sausage/organic eggs one morning and omelete/french toast the other. They also provide freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. The B&B is very laidback and all of the staff are very friendly and responsive. They had fireworks and a golf demo for the weekend and also live band performing and barbeque at the front deck. We ate at the farmhouse restaurant one night and the food blew us away. Apart from golf, we drove down to the downtown area for dinner, parasailing and arcane games. It was a very eventful weekend in a serene setting. One complaint i have is the mattress is on the soft side in the room and not big enough for 2 grownups.
