“Nothing to complain about, nothing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2010

It was my anniversary weekend and we want a place to stay not to far from NYC. All of the hotels that I seemed to like, they were all book. I took a chance with the Mount Laurel Westin, even though trip advisor had no pictures. We got there late, around 11pm, the young lady at the front desk was more than welcoming. She explained to us where everything is located in the hotel and also upgraded us. We stayed during the week and the hotel was not busy at all. Which is why I think we were upgraded. We were placed in a junior suite with both a stand up shower and tub. The bed was huge and there is also a couch area, along with a separate desk and flat screen TV. Room service was great, they came up at all hours. At point our key didn't work and the girl at the front desk came up to give us our replacement key. I thought that was particularly nice, since that happened to us before at a Sheraton and they made us go up and down 2x, after the key finally worked, it was such a pain (especially with bags). The heat and AC settings worked great. Our room was located in the front of the hotel. There is lots of parking in the back. I recommend parking in the back and not the side. This way you can enter through the back entrance and bring in food if you don't want anyone to see or other items. I would only stay here if you have a car. There is a Bob Evans across the street, it is like a Ihop but cheaper and the portions are huge (free wi fi too). Google Maps should be your best friend here, there are 2/3 malls in the area that a HUGE! In Cherry Hill (5mins away, literally) there is a cinema, and lots of places to eat like hooters, Bahama breeze (SO GOOD), Friday's, a few Italian places, lots of MC' Donald's, Burger Kings etc. There is also a great Sushi place called Megu that is about 10minutes away. There is also a Walmart about 5minutes away where we bought snacks etc. There are so many things to do in the area, I think it is a great spot. I could not believe no posted pictures, I felt complied since the hotel was excellent, absolute clean, up to date and the staff was friendly.

“Fun indoor swimming pool”

We stayed at this hotel recently to be near our family in Cherry Hill. The big attraction was taking our grandsons to the indoor swimming pool. They offer fabulous discounts from the rather pricey rack rates, so ask for special deals. The room was very nice, the hotel was quiet and the personnel were especially nice. The staff was very responsive and knew my name within a half hour. We asked for more pillows and they were immediately deloivered to the room.

“Well managed, very clean despite its location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2009

My family stayed at Westin Mt Laurel over the weekend to visit Please Touch museum and Sahara Sams. I have stayed at many 3 to 4 star hotels and this definitely deserves a 4 star. The hotel is very clean and well managed. The room is nicely equipped with very comfortable beds. The staff is nice and friendly. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which has an open window kitchen to whip up delicious meals. If not because of its location, which kind of puzzles me to run a 4-star hotel, I believe it can easily claim $250+ in the nearby Philadelphia. We throughly enjoyed staying there and my wife told me to book it again when we visit the area next time.

“Fair”

Although the staff was great, you receive much more at cheaper motels. There is no continental breakfast, no complimentary coffee in the lobby, the gift shop is a joke, even for your coffe in your room, if you'd like to buy a second package to make one cup, the cost is $4.00. The outside is horrible, all parking lot, almost no landscaping, no courtyard, no outdoor benches or covered area. The bed is great! Internet connection is $9.95 for 24 hours, most places are free. You really don't get anything free at this hotel. Very small swimming pool and hot tub. Just not impressed with this hotel at all.

“Comfortable, but too many things not to like”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2009

For a Westin this place is below par. the parking situation is confusing and we ended up entering through the banquet area as nothing is clearly marked. The room is the typical Westin, with the overpriced snacks, one of which we were charged for even though it was missing before we got to the room. To the hotel's credit, this was corrected but it seemed an unnecessary mistake. the room itself was comfortable but seemed a bit worn. the real problem is your paying four star prices at what is really a three star hotel. When you stay at a Westin you have certain expectations, this one did not meet mine.
