My husband & I stayed here last year overnight on a Spin Saver voucher. It was love at first sight. The staff was great the room beautiful. The stay was so short I needed more time so when SpinSaver offered the same voucher this year I jumped on it and added an extra day,and again we were very happy customers. I am happy to say we signed up for the Rewards program and look forward to going back! Jennie Dunphy,NJ

Stayed with a wedding party. They were supposed to have the bar open when we got back but it wasn't which is "a tale as old as time". I have worked in the hotel industry so i know that that is common. However, when we got back to the hotel the bartender was still there in the bar, not only was he rude but he apparently does not need money. I don't even drink so i am not bias in the situation. Beds were old and frumpy and the detergent they use is most likely the cause of a bad rash or allergic reaction my girlfriend got from the sheets. But we are still waiting for the test results from the doctor to find out if this was the actual cause.

Piece of advice... Find something more modern because if you're going for "nostalgic" This isn't the place!!!!

We stayed at the Lambertville House over Memorial Day weekend for a one night getaway. The front desk agent was friendly and explained the amenities and we checked in right away. The room was spacious, with a king bed and nice amenities that included optional snacks and wine. The room was clean, bright and nicely decorated, a bit dated but not shabby. The only comment that I have that needs improvement is the king mattress, it's due. Parking was complimentary, you have to place a hang tag on your mirror, which was great because we paid $20 elsewhere in New Hope to park for the first part of the day before we checked in.
The downstairs bar was cozy and we had cocktails which were nicely prepared, and our bartender was professional and helpful in giving us information about the area. Check out was quick and efficient. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel, not really designed for the traveling businessman though. From the online reviews I was expecting a lot, but felt a little let down. Lots of olde-worldy charm and a good sleep in a GREAT location with very pleasant service. Food is the soft point. Breakfast is pathetic. The chef told me he could only do hard boiled eggs on ice, not fresh scrambled eggs as he couldn't get them to work with the limited materials he had. Not much to be said after that... Restaurant food here is great IF you are dieting or a wealthy rabbit. I did have a salad and pasta one night and it was extremely well done, but I really wanted a steak... This would be a superb place for a quiet getaway as a mature couple, and I'd happily do that. Strongly recommend they sort out the breakfast menu though.

Room tip: I had what I think was about the best, King with jacuzzi etc - and the best description is fun and charming. Sitting down to write reports at night on faux-antique desk and chair was trying! If you come here for a relaxing break, I'm sure all the rooms will be great.

My wife and I first stayed here 3 years ago for a quick 1 night anniversary stay. We very much enjoyed ourselves. We returned this time with her sister and significant other for three days and two nights. Once again, we were not dissappointed. We have stayed in many Bed & Breakfast's. I love the fact that this is a boutique hotel. It has the bar and restaurant features of a larger hotel while offering Bed & Breakfast type rooms. How much more could you ask for? The facility is well maintained and very clean. The location is absolutely perfect. There is on site parking which in Lamberville, is a good thing. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our room, the Courtyard Queen Suite, was nicer then many of the rooms offered in any B & B we've ever stayed at. The robes were a great touch and perfect for just lounging around in after sitting in the jacuzzi until our skin was like prunes!!. The breakfast was not quite like a B & B, but then again, it is not expected to be since this is not a true B & B. Still, it was quite adequate. On the other hand, the bar/lounge is outstanding with great bartenders and a wonderful atmosphere. We had cocktails each evening prior to going out for dinner and it was a great way to start our evenings events. We would definately recommend the Lamberville House to anyone of any age. It's just a great getaway for any occassion. We look forward to our next visit, which we promised ourselves, would be much sooner then the three years it took us this time to come back.
