We arrived late in the evening, after finding out that our booking at Brandin Iron Inn, was not on their computer. We had the option to return to town center the next evening, but fell in love with the Super 8.
Suzy at the reception is nothing but an angel.
We were satisfied from everything: space, cleanliness, comfort, attitude.
The sunrise over Yellowstone, at 7 am from the breakfast hall added another dimension to this Super 8. The staff in the morning was also very friendly.
The next evening, after a long and exhausting day at Yellowstone, we were happy to drive the last miles to our Super 8.
If we come again to Yellowstone, we certainly book here our stay, and recommend it wormly to everybody.
The 7 miles way are really negligible: it's one straight road, and you can drive most of it at 70 mph.

Room tip: If your luggage is heay and you have a difficulty to carry it, prefer the first floor(no elevator)

front desk staff is awesome. dont forget the tasty chocolate cookies that are cooked every evening at 6PM by the manager. kids loved em. stayed for 2 nights. about 6-7 miles away from the west yellowstone town but the views from the property were mind blowing. there is coin based laundry next door (at the KOA campground)

had room with 2 queen beds. there is a microwave in the breakfast area (ie., no microwave in any rooms).

breakfast selection was pretty decent. oh, and there is 24x7 availability of hot chocolate/coffee in the breakfast area. got room on ground floor as requested.

thanks you super 8 folks for making our stay a very comfortable one.

This motel had been renovated by the owner several years ago and he kept in mind the kind of place he would want to stay. He succeeded in not only making it one of the more comfortable and pleasing to the eye but instilled the meaning of friendliness and service to it's staff. I was very impressed with the younger employees that was working there while going to the local college. Very polite and anxious to please the consumer.

Although we had a hard time finding because it's outside of West Yellowstone, we were pleasantly surprised that the kindness of the staff quickly made up for it. We were impressed by the manager was so caring of the passengers of a bus that had broken down. He steered us to a great restaurant and it was a quiet night in a very scenic area. The next day at the staff's recommendation we went to Earthquake Lake which is a really interesting place to see.

Room tip: I think they are all quiet because it's out in the country.

I researched hotels in the Yellowstone area and came across this one with mixed reviews. It is a nice Super 8 with a decent breakfast. The worst part of it is location. After a day on a tour in Yellowstone, we were dropped back at the hotel and then get in the car and drive back about 7 miles to go into West Yellowstone to get something to eat. You have to think about the cost savings vs the driving to and from. Again, not a bad hotel and staff was nice. The morning clerk (Roy I think) gave us a tip about Mesa Falls. One of our favorite stops, especially the upper falls.

Room tip: This is one of 5 hotels we stayed at that did not have an elevator, but we were on the 1st floor.
