Loved the accommodations....perfect suite! If you stay in one of the downstairs suites I think it is safe to say you will hear ever step taken upstairs but the attention to the details including the amazing linens made up for the neighbors! Breakfast was very good but the lack of communication was a little strange. Ever one just would be seated and wait for what came next...no menu for the day shared or anything. It was a pleasant surprise but I think people might be more comfortable if they knew a little better what to expect. We look forward to returning back for another wonderful stay!

Stayed over the labor day weekend. Great room, wonderful food and plenty of things to do in the area if you like antiques, wineries, and a brewery as well as a chocolate shop that was awesome. Beautiful scenery!

Room tip: Be sure to ask for a room on the main floor of one of the many cottages

We spent two nights in the Bach room at the Inn at Hermannhof on the advice of a friend. It was the nicest bed and breakfast experience we've ever had. The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable - lovely antique furniture coupled with modern amenities like a huge steam shower, claw foot bathtub, very efficient air conditioning (the outside temp was close to 100 degrees so it was quite important), refrigerator for cold water and wine, soft comforters, and pillows, etc. After a long day and drive, arriving at 9pm, we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and delicious snacks (small sausage rolls and cookies) that were thoughtfully left for us by the innkeepers. The immaculately kept stone cottages were charming and provided magnificent views of the vineyards, river and town. The owners couldn't have been nicer. Our only small quibble is that the German food, in general, was a bit heavy for our taste, especially in such extremely hot weather, but that was not a surprise and is part of the experience - you don't go to the town of Hermann for "spa cuisine" . Highly recommended, highest quality, a fantastic experience in every way.

Room tip: It seemed like all of the rooms were very nice and each has its own charms. The rooms in the inn itself, which is right in the middle of town next to restaurants and the railroad tracks, may be a bit noisier than the separate cottages up on the hill above the town.

I had a continuing education event at the Inn at Hermannhof but my husband and I stayed an extra night just to get some couples time and we loved everything about the stay. We were in the Fleischhaus cottage in the Videl suite. The bed was out of this world comfortable, the shower was so big and had multiple shower heads, I didn't want to get out. The view from our porch was so peaceful. And last but not least the breakfasts were delicious and filling.

I recently held a corporate event at The Inn at Hermannhoff that filled their complex. I had nothing but absolutely stunning reviews from my guests. I have to give a special hats off to two special people that helped make the event fabulous: Gina and Julee, the Associate Manager and General Manager of the complex. They were more than accommodating at any request that we made, and always had a "can do" attitude. The breakfast is probably the best I've had in years (I travel a lot, so I have lots of experiences), and the rooms, well, I could live there. A couple of my guests said "I don't want to leave my room". I am going back to The Inn at Hermanhoff very soon and would highly recommend it to anyone. Their restaurant is an old granary; adorable, and great food! We will be returning to Hermanhoff for another corporate event in the future.
