“Excellent beach condo”

We stayed in unit M8 and it was great. All the decor was bright and cheerfull and everything was new and updated. I plan on visiting there again soon in the near future. The grounds were very well kept and not a bug in sight. The beach was beautiful and very relaxing due to it was a private beach. I felt very safe there you could leave your beach stuff at the beach all day and no one would touch it. I would highly recommend staying there.

“Wow - Brand New and a great price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2009

We stayed in the M building. M and N are the only gulf front buildings. They are brand new buildings since hurrican Ivan. The beaches are awesome, white and sugary. No teenagers or college age, so no late night noise. For this price, we had a really wonderful vacation.

“nightmare stay at Villas on the Gulf”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2006

We stayed in unit H-9 in July 2006 for 4 nights. The door to the unit was broke. Everytime we left we had to work on the door for several minutes before we could get it to close. We were in a 2 bedroom unit and when we arrived one of the beds was unmade. Food was left on the counter from the people that had been in the unit prior to us. The toilets and sinks were not clean. The beach and the ocean was full of sea weed. Not an enjoyable stay.

“not the best vacation”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2006

The unit only had a few working outlets, the 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds crammed toegther in a small room and the way the furniture was arranged, only one bed had view of the tv because the tv cabinet wouldn't open all the way. There were only 2 small garbage cans in the whole place and seeing as we had small children, the cans got filled up quickly. The dishwasher wouldn't open all the way either so we just gave up on using it. There was no way to lock our back sliding door so we got robbed one night as we stepped out to walk to the beach. There was a lot of construction around so this wasn't the peaceful vacation we had planned. We enjoyed the lagoon and the ducks but the walk to the beach wasn't as "short" as we had planned and I jammed my toe on a piece of metal pipe sticking out of the ground. The balconies are not private but shared by your neighbor as only a portion of a wall seperated the two. I wouldn't recommend the 8 people it claims to fit in it unless you want to be jammed together. And seeing as our condo was broken into, I don't think its all that safe if you want to have your children with you because you will constantly have to watch them and your stuff.
