During our stay at the Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort we stayed in one of their cozy cabins. We stayed here on two different occasions. The first time we stayed was during summer time when the Florida heat was in full swing. It was great! The second time was just a week ago where we experienced a mix of Florida humidity and heat as well as cooler nights with mild rain showers. You are wondering why or how this is relevant but it is! During our stay we rented a golf cart to get around (this is so worth the $70 per day!). We checked in and check out a golf card. My partner followed behind while I drove the golf cart to the cabin. Upon arrival to our cabin we unloaded our groceries (we went to Publix in Champions Gate) and place everything where it goes. We like this Disney resort because the cabins have a fully equipped kitchen. So instead of paying for the dining plan and eating out each day/night we cooked lunch and dinner to save money. Of course we cooked great meals we normally don't eat to make it worth while. The cabin is a perfect size with a separate bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds.
