My family and i including my father -in- law and mother - in- law go on vacations every year. We normally always book our reservations thru internet while looking at it carefully at pictures and asking questions. Well when we got there the pictures on the internet were nothing like the the place.. the first two bedroom which was room 343 was the nastiest, it had bandaids over sockets that they didn't want you to use, there was a bandaid hold the romote battery for the tv in, the furniture was tore up, my husband got locked in the bathroom while checking it out, the stove hadn't been cleaned, the referigator stunk. It should of been pool side view, in order for that to have happen you would have to sit on the railing on the back of the two beds when we said something about that, the lady said its pool side not pool view. ok! It was awful. my father in law went down to complain and they said sorry no refund with out a 30 day notice, what the heck, they said we can give you a different room, so not willing to give up our 140 dollars in money, we tried another room it was room 243 it was almost as bad, stove filthy, this was only a one bed room and they said we had to pay more money for it, there was two beds in the room with no walking space between the beds and the light switch was found written in small lttters in pen on the wall behind the head board saying "light switch" with a arrow.. All this for 140.00 a night.. Beautiful motels on both sides of us and this dump in between, must say one thing the man did keep up with the pool, every morning he was cleaning the pool, not taking care of the rooms but the pool, oh yes and the banquet room no such room it was a junk room it had two tables, some broken down ceiling fans and other junk in it and the laundry room was in there also it had one washer and one dryer and it was filthy you had to walk thru the nasty banquet room to get to it. Also, paint coming off the walls everywhere. And yes i did take pictures of this, but not sure on how to put them on here but if interested i will find a way! We informed the staff of our unhappy arrival and departure and didn't matter to them they had there money.

When we checked in the staff immediately started with what we COULD NOT DO!!! I was NOT allowed to have any of my family members that were not registered @ Sandalwood on the property at all I was informed that if this occurred that we would be THROWN out!! They were QUITE UNFRIENDLY!!The unit we stayed in was falling apart from the lousy plumbing to the chipping paint and ceilings. I also had to beg for extra toilet paper!! To pay THAT ENORMOUS amount for staying @a resort I expected much more and I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! Spend your money somewhere where you can actually enjoy your stay!!! There are several nice places at Redington Beach and this is NOT one of them.

We booked a 4 night stay at the Sandalwood before reading the reviews on Tripadvisor.I was a little worried to say the least. But we had a pleasant time with no major problems, the cooker didn't work properly even after reporting it at reception but eveything else was fine. The room was large and clean , towels changed daily , pool clean, sunbeds fine.
Perhaps other people expect to much.

We booked for four nights and were then forced to cancel due to extenuating circumstances. When we called to cancel we were met with a cold reception and were charged a $10.00 cancelation fee-even though we were well w/in their stated policy. When we asked why we were never told of any cancelation fee - we were told we could speak to management - but that " it wouldn't do any good!" The desk attendant was one of the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered - she got loud and arrogant with me on the phone. Obviously these people do not read their property reviews nor do they care.
