My wife and I have stayed here multiple times. They are clean and have everything you need for a weeks stay except food. We love it here. I have stayed in other places this one is the best. Love the place.

Room tip: Cabin 1 and 2 are the ones you should try to get you won't regret it. If they are not available, stay in one of the others, they are just as nice, just not on the beach.

This place is very cute and quiet in October :"). Only one other place booked. We love it, it is perfect for two people and with over night guests one night it worked also to share out the sofa bed. It is close to several restaurants, two pharmacies and a big grocery. So without a car was just great for us. Gladys asked all the time if everything was fine. YES. As we came for the beach closeness so we could not be happier to be staying here. Only things I would like to see is a list posted for what to recycle, a lot here we didn't know about. and perhaps knowing that there is nothing but salt and pepper and a small amount of dishsoap here to use. But I should have asked more questions so not a big deal. Just had to go pick up more stuff. Every year you learn something about travel don't you? We were greeted with our name on a hanging chalk board and fresh flowers by Alice who handles the reservations, and left to our own devices otherwise. Nice, if you are looking for an easy walk to the beach and stores and a cozy get away for you and your honey, this is the place.

Room tip: we were on the road side but not a big deal to us, quiet at night mostly anyway

We are returning to Bamboo Apartments for our third stay in October, staying in Cottage #1 after staying in cottage #2 (slighly smaller) the prvious 2 trips. The cottage is slightly closer to the beach than the apartments but all are clean, well maintained and modern while keeping the old Florida feel. Great location only steps off the beach. One of the nice things is the private back yard between the cottage and beach that is shaded by Australian Pines, making it a great place to get out of the sun in the hotter afternoons while still enjoying the view of the gulf. The owners are great to work with and the rates are very reasonable. The only possible drawback is the lack of a pool but that is never an issue with us. Not as upscale as other options on AMI but perfect for us. AMI is a true gem - only one month to go!

Have spent the past six years vacationing here. Not many places like this left on our beautiful Gulf. If you're looking for a quaint, quite place to vaca on one of this nation's top beaches, I suggest Bamboo Apts. You won't find anything like it The apartments are comfy and clean. The grounds are immaculate, and the beach is breath-taking. Whether you enjoy a full day of sunshine or would rather sit under the shade of the wonderful Australian pines and enjoy the cool breezes, this is the place to stay. Couples or families, Bamboo is definitely for beach lovers! You will fall in love with the place as I have I promise. Within walking distance of anything and everything, you'll look forward to it year after year as we do. Hate to leave, and always looking foward to next year. The manager and staff are terrific and we love them...Alice, we'll be baaack!!

Room tip: The cottage facing the beach, though smaller in size, is unique. From back in the 'old days', you'll love the cedar walls and enjoy the screened porch with a full view of the gulf. Originally a house, it's been split into two apartments which sleep 4 each. Perfect for sharing with family or friends. The other 3 apartments all have a window view of the beach, a patio and share a wonderful garden walk. Clean, cool and comfy.. you'll love them!

My family has been here three times and rented three different rooms. All have been immaculate and ready when we get there. There's tables and grills set up under the beautiful trees so you can enjoy the sunsets while you're cooking. Being directly on the beach is very important to us and the well equipped rooms is a plus. We plan to go at least twice a year, once in spring and again in the fall. If you want a quiet, clean, and comfortable place on the beach at Anna Maria, this is it.

Room tip: If you have 2 families that want to share a screened porch looking directly at the beach, choose the cottages.
