“Comfortable enough”

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills for four nights in January. Our room was comfortable enough with all the usual inclusions. We had two beautiful double beds which were so comfortable and cosy. We were a bit disappointed that the beds were double and not queen size. All the other hotels we had stayed at in California were queen. The area was not really handy to anything. Although this didn't matter too much as most days we were picked up by our shuttle bus to go sightseeing. But at night, it was not handy to any restaurants and anything interesting to just go for a walk after dinner. If i stayed again in LA i would stay somewhere closer to the Beverly Centre Shopping Centre. There was a great food court, cinemas and great shopping. But for somewhere clean and comfortable, it was good. The free internet was good too!

I was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel, but it ended up being a great experience. Really nice staff, clean hotel, etc...no complaints

“Older hotel but clean and provides good service”

My husband and I had a 7 night stay in this hotel. From my opinion the Hotel can certainly do with an upgrade as it is that bit older, the rooms are quite small but more importantly they are clean and the service from the hotel staff we received was always pleasant. If you don't mind walking, it is not really that far to Rodeo Drive, Sax Fifth Ave etc. (10-15mins) and along the way there is some very nice restaurants & cafe's where you can dine. California Kitchen have great meals and if you like mexican food there is a fabulous restaurant called Frida which I highly recommend, the food is delicious! If you love a good burger then try Islands Fine Burgers on Beverly Drive. A cab drive is definate when going out to the Sunset Strip but not far and not that pricey. Overall, I would stay there again.

“Avoid this hotel”

This hotel is NOT 3 1/2 stars. It is dirty, scuff marks everywhere, the maid looked through our things, but did not bother to give us clean towels, I guess she was too busy. They should be embarrassed that this hotel looks like this. Dirty carpets, bed bugs, etc.
